Stick to the buffet

This is the 2nd time we’re visiting Hoshi and this time round, we decided to try their ala carte menu instead. We ordered the Sashimi Bento Set with tempura and yakiniku ($27++). The sashimi was good and the yakiniku was flavourful and tender. However, we found the tempura to be a little soggy (perhaps a tad too much oil) and lacked the crisp we were expecting.Overall, the quality of food was pretty similar to the buffet.  Overall, the quality of food was pretty similar to the buffet. For the price, I would recommend to have the buffet (if you have the appetite and time) instead as it would definitely be more worthwhile.
