Lai Lai Casual Dining is where you can find the authentic Tawan flavours I reckon. The minced pork rice is delicious. The minced pork, with right portion of fats, is simmered in the sauce for long that it tastes so flavourful. The rice itself is a bit hard though.Apart from the rice, we also ordered a few side dishes. This is the first time I tried pig's big intestine here. It is very well-cleaned! The cold dish silken tofu with century is pretty alright. I am not a huge fans of the sweet black sauce though. But overall speaking, this dish is cooling and appetizing.
The vegetable stew balances up the meal. Wombok is simmered with mushroom till tender and very soft. It tastes like mum's cooking.
