It feels like I've been crazy over Tau Sar Piah lately and I want to hunt for the best one in Singapore! There are a few famous ones around Balestier area and a notable one is Loong Fatt, which is located at the end of a row of shophouses. Personally, for tau sar piahs, I prefer salty over the sweet ones but I ended up buying a mixture of both to try! The tau sar piahs here are shaped differently from the usual ones and I like that the filling is very thick. However, the taste is not the usual salty ones I tried elsewhere and there is not much difference between the sweet and salty. I guess the main highlight lies in the crust. It is so crispy!! Probably the most crispy one I tried so far! ;)
