This afternoon just meet up with my ex-colleagues at tanjong pagar. Initially i didnt want to come in Singapre today as tomorrow is the election day, but i need to collect my workpass so decide to come in and meet up with them. Initially i didnt want to come in Singapre today as tomorrow is the election day, but i need to collect my workpass so decide to come in and meet up with them. Skip all those info that unrelated with the food, now enter to the topic.
We ordered a fish and chip, lamb chop and some sausages. However they hesitant about ordering these as they felt that is not sufficient. Luckily they listened to me as the amount of the food just good and they didnt end up with the over eating. I ordered the mix sausages with is under the set lunch in the menu. To be honest, the sausages were really disappointing. It was not crispy on the outside and the cheese in the cheese sausage was not oozing out as we cut it up. The pork mushroom was normal and we could not taste any mushroom in it.
My colleague ordered the lamb chop, the meat was juicy & tender. The sauce was not very creamy,abit watery with mild black pepper taste. The size for the lamb chop quite big, when girls want to try maybe can share with another one (for those small eater ladies, LOL). The lamb chop is the best among what we ordered, and she felt proud of it.
This tasted much better than the sausages but the winner still the lamb chop. Although the outlook look very "dry", inside the crispy skin with juicy fresh meat din make my colleague disappointed. Overall like other place fish & chips that dun have "outstanding skill". The service and environment there is good.
