There was always a long queue at this Tonkichi Restaurant during meal times. When I saw there was a shorter queue, I quickly went to dine there.Since everyone ordered the usual Tonkatsu (deep fried pork fillet), I decided to order something different from the menu.I had ordered Tonkatsu with cheese. I had ordered Tonkatsu with cheese.
When the order came, I thought the tonkatsu does not looked different from others wonder had they gave me the wrong order.
So I decided to takeout one piece and there was melted cheese flowing out from the tonkatsu.
The outer breaded skin of the tonkatsu was hot, cripsy and fluffy, no oiliness feel.
Inside the pork was slightly fatty type, meat was tender and juicy, with flowing melting cheese made overall even juicier!
