Went to Nakhon for dinner today. As usually come before 6 and you will be spared from queuing, anytime after that you will probably have to wait for a table. First dish we had was pad thai, it is one of the better and more affordable pad thai around. Kang Kong was okayI love the Tom Yum Soup here. Spicy, in fact too spicy for most but I thought it the perfect spice level. Anything less spicy will not give you the 'kick' This is usually where i get my tom yum fix. Basil pork was pretty ordinary.
Didnt think the garlic chicken was good. Probably wouldnt order this again.
Stuff chicken wing was well.. i guess alright.
Overall I think the good thing about this restaurant is that it serves good food at a very affordable price. If you are willing to pay, you can always go to YhingThai palace at purvis street which is double the price but the food is more refine. If not, this is really good, which explains the huge crowd especially weekend.Oh but one thing i hate about this restaurant is that it plays very loud thai music. Very Loud. They will reluctantly turn the volume down if you ask them to, but just a little notch down.
