Hatter Street is a whimsical cafe located in a quiet HDB estate in Hougang. They have a variety of pastries and drinks to choose from, but my friend and I decided to share their signature 'Whoa'ffles ($8.90).There are 3 variations, but we chose the Singapore-inspired flavour. Pandan ice cream drizzled with Gula Melaka. Sounds extremely sinful and delish! This might be the best waffle I've ever had so far. This might be the best waffle I've ever had so far. The crispy waffles were pretzel-like salted, which balances out the sweetness of the Gula Melaka. The blueberries also helped to tone down on the sweetness. A plus point, because the waffles don't feel too rich or heavy to finish. The Pandan Ice Cream is heaven - reminds me of those old school pandan kueh. Very uniquely Singaporean; a very good fusion dessert! On the down side, the waffles weren't exactly hot when served.
