I was craving for some fried food and decided to get some crispy chicken from Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks at the Basement of AMK Hub!Although i've never been to taiwan, this is the closest i can get to getting delicious crispy chicken (although unhealthy) in Singapore!I loved the batter! I loved mine with both pepper and chilli as it really brings out the taste in the chicken.
Although the overall taste is good, it would be better if they had used chicken thigh instead of the (tasteless) chicken breast. However, i can't complain much as the meat inside is tender and juicy!
Do consider Shihlin next time you're looking for a (sinful) snack. At $3.50 a bag, it isn't the cheapest snack but it boosts in flavour!
