Oh yes this is one of my favourite carefree authenic japanese restaurant that sits at Cuppage Plaza for a long long time. Been visiting them since the late 90's and still go to them when I want a good comfort meal. Oh yes this is one of my favourite carefree authenic japanese restaurant that sits at Cuppage Plaza for a long long time. Been visiting them since the late 90's and still go to them when I want a good comfort meal. Their signature bento@$20, is a die die must try and you will be certain for sure that it's very comforting even to eat up the braised pork belly(think of collagen). The seasonal sashimi is always fresh and the grilled saba is not fishy at all. Last of all the tempura has never been oily and they have this onion ring tempura which tastes so very sweet. Believe it or not, out of 10 trips there, 8 trips my order will be this bento.

Then another dish is a must try is the Butter Squid @$8. It's lightly grilled and drizzled with butter and it's so yummy. They served daily in house dishes on specials only on week nights which is nice and their set lunches cost @$10 nett(cash prefer if credit below $20). But must make reservations or go and queue up early because is very popular with the office crowd.
