As there is an outlet nearby, I will frequently get breads from Crystal Jade after I am done with electronics shopping at IMM. I quite like the sponge cake here as it is what I used to enjoy last time and I find that the taste is rather similar to what I had last time as well, though the price is so much more expensive now. The cake is very light tasting and the texture is really good – soft, spongy without being too airy. I love it dipped with milk tea as well as it gives the cake another flavour.

It has been very long since I had breakfast at Burger King, so I was welcome to the idea of having breakfast there before my meeting. I ordered the breakfast set of the turkey ham croissanwich which also comes with a drink and hashbrowns. I love the buttery taste of the croissant and the melted cheese together with the turkey and slightly runny eggs. The whole combination just blends so well together and left me wanting for more. The milo is also thick and not diluted even after drinking it an hour or so later. It is a filling and satisfying breakfast.

As it is close to dinnertime, I chose to get a green tea frap instead of the coffee frap. One thing I love about Starbucks is the customisation. You can easily customise your drink by choosing the type of milk that you want, or whether or not to have whipped cream with your frap. I chose to have my frap with soya milk at an additional cost and without whipped cream. I bought it home to drink and I thought the green tea frap is really nice with soya milk as there is an additional fragrance to it. The green tea taste is just right as well, not too bitter nor too overpowering.

I am glad to have found this bakery. Their range of breads are really very interesting and are more towards European style of breads with calzone, ciabatta, focaccia. It is a very refreshing change from the usual breads in most bakeries. Some of these breads will have fillings inside while some will just be the bread itself. This is the ciabatta bread without any fillings. I love the taste of the bread. It is very fragrant and has a saltish taste. The bread is also soft in the inside. I will definitely be back to try out the other range of breads next time!

It was during the weekends and everywhere is crowded with people. We are quite tired from all the walking so we decided to just settle for mcdonalds for our dinner to save us the trouble of finding seats in the food court. I ordered the meal for double cheeseburger and had my drink changed to milk. The fries here are just newly fried which made the fries especially crispy. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal as we get to fill our stomachs, rest our feet and we did not have to wait long for our meal as well as the service here is fast with many cashier counters open.
