standard dropping mee Cry Jan 21, 2013

Fei Fei Wanton Mee used to be good. As in really good. However, the standards have dropped, or more accurately, been dropping since 2 years ago.
Being 24 hours makes them the place of choice for many night owls, and since there's ample parking, you'll find a lot of foodies and pub crawlers there after 2am. The crowds are generally subdued and its very much quiet most of the time.
Famous for their hand made noodles which are pretty tiny, so you have

to order a bigger bowl. The wantans are a little too salty and small and the char siew sliced too thinly to appreciate. Their chicken leg noodles on the other hand, is nice and the gravy it comes with is tasty. That's the only thing I have now when I do go.

I have try Korean BBQ before but Kkongdon was the first time.
This Korean modern BBQ with their simple decor was not the usual buffet that was expected. You have to buy the set meal which cost $20++. However the side dish are free flow.
I ordered a set with is a Combe of black pepper beef and pork. The beef was well marinated but a little too spicy for me but the pork was one of the good.
What I like about this place was that the service crew was attentive to the Customer. They will from time to time serve water to us as they know  I was not used to the spicy beef.
Other than the set ordered. We are also served with Korean rice cake and bean paste soup. The Korean rice cake was good and we even try it on grill. lol As for the soup, spicy but tasty.
Overall the place is good for a group outing as it is in a clubhouse. I would recommend it after spending times after activities and have a wholesome meal in this joint.

A cosy place for a good authentic Peranakan family dinner. This is definitely value for money in term of price. I like the beef rendang and the Chap Chye. Try also the curry fish. Foods are not too spicy.

The place can be crowded, so making reservation will help. It can be frustrating just trying to park your car unless you don't mind taking a taxi.

Must-try dishes include:
Mixed Veg in Claypot
Chicken in Candle nut
Fried whole Fish with chilli paste
Duck soup with sour veggy.

Must try the dessert too :
BoBo ChaChar
Gula Melaka

Great place, great food, great company. Customer Service is good, even if they are short-handed, they try to serve with a smile.

There is both seating indoors and outdoors, and parking is ample next door. The only problem is the far flung location in the east of Singapore.it give us a feeling of escaping the crowd in a relaxed cafe atmosphere. My friends and I are a little enthusiastic about coffee. We tried their flat white, it had a flat bold bitter taste.

The buttermilk waffles served with mangoes on top had a dry texture to it. It was kinda chewy, my friend didn't like it but I was ok with it.

I ordered the Swiss breakfast that comes with sauté mushrooms served on rosti with 2 cheese sausages and scrambled eggs. The mushrooms had a slightly burned taste, rosti was bland but it went well with the sausages splashed with a little sour cream. The eggs were nice, moist and fluffy. I enjoyed this dish. Then again we didn't really specify.

The ice chocolate was delicious.

Atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were all pretty nice.
