Who doesn't love fried food despite being sinful and unhealthy! But i guess it's ok to indulge once in a while.... Just eat in moderation! =) For convenience, Old Chang Kee had lots of different locations. I'm sure it's quite easy to satisfy your cravings!

Lately for me, i really start liking their curry puff. Texture of the skin is actually pretty good. Quite a good amount of sardine filling for $1.40. Even my grandma enjoyed the chicken version too.

To me, a birthday is kind of not complete if there's no cake. Usually if i'm the organizer, I will surely include a cake =)

If you are getting sick of the usual cake, i'm sure ice cream cake will appeal to all regardless of young and old! I will think of Swensen's first whenever i need an ice cream cake. I don't have a particular favorite, will just pick something that i like on that day.

For the size and portion, i think Swensen's ice cream cake are reasonably priced. Always got good feedbacks from family and friends =)

Thanks to OpenRice for this $50 voucher which I won from a contest, I had the chance to visit Roadhouse at Dempsey for a weekend lunch with my friend. It's been quite a while since my last visit to Dempsey and with this $50 voucher, it means more savings and I shall try something nice!

I've actually viewed the menu online already and once i spotted "Foie Gras", i knew that be my choice!

Fabulous Foie Gras $32 - 170g Josper-grilled Wagyu patty, foie gras, mango salsa, balsamic reduced shallots, rocket & garlic mayonnaise. This is the description on the website and it sounds yummy, isn't it! I was quite impressed with the portion of the foie gras. For the wagyu patty, i request for medium and it was pretty good. Even fries are nice too!

My friend who had the High On Shrooms $25, enjoyed her burger very much too! And of course we have to end the meal with desserts! Our first choice wasn't available so we opt for Valrhona Chocolate Brownie $12 - Sea salt chocolate sauce & vanilla bean ice cream.

Brownie lovers, please try this! It's moist and nice. And it's a perfect match when you pair it with the sea salt chocolate sauce & vanilla bean ice cream. It was so sinful but worth the calories! Haha!

I will definitely be back to try out the brunch menu =)

P.S: This restaurant is well hidden at one corner. It's behind Jumbo and along this stretch of furniture shops. Just go all the way to the end. You can also find some parking lots which is right beside the restaurant.

When you mention champagne truffle, you will think of the very popular ones from Raffles Hotel. However for this year, i didn't get to try and i can't really remember the taste.

Was pleasantly surprised to receive 2 boxes of Mini Snowskin White Lotus Seed Paste with Champagne Truffle from Li Bai at Sheraton. First of all, i really love the packaging! It's packed in a very nice classic red long shaped box, perfect choice to present as a gift.

Taste wise, it didn't disappoint. The white lotus seed paste is very smooth. It's a nice combination and i enjoyed it with a nice cup of tea.

To me rojak can be quite satisfying as a main meal on it's own cause can be quite filling with a variety ingredients in it. Personally i like more you tiao so without fail, if i'm having it on my own, i will replace the tau pok with you tiao.

There's one stall at this kopitiam in Hougang which i like. Thanks to a friend who stayed nearby will buy it occasionally for me when we meet up. Recently found this stall at Ang Mo Kio which has pretty good rojak too. Finally somewhere that's at a convenient location for me =)

I actually bought this back to office to eat so was already kind of soggy when i started eating. And yet it turns out pretty ok. I think the gravy taste was quite well mixed. Only complaint was the texture was slightly watery. Otherwise overall taste is good with fresh ingredients.
