Was wondering what this unit was going to be when i saw the whole shop being renovated. Finally on their opening day i happened to be around the area and was pleasantly surprised to see Nakhon! Very happy to see a branch that's near me =)

So when a friend jio me for lunch, i gladly accepted since it also walking distance for me from work. They start on the dot at 12pm so no harm going just a bit earlier to get a table.

For both us, we SUPER love tomyum soup so it's a must order and most of the time, we each had one bowl. Haha!

We also decided to order another 2 dishes to share. So we had Kang Kong in Thai style and Phad Thai.

For the kang kong, i usually had it in belachan but i was quite interested to try out thai style and it turns out to be really nice. Since it's thai style, i guess they used more ingredients like fish sauce, etc. Enjoy this while it's hot and it's pretty shiok.

Phad Thai was good too and mixed everything together, drizzle the lime over it equal a plate of happiness waiting for you to enjoy. It was a droolicious good lunch! Can't wait to go back again.

Came here for dinner last night with a friend! It's been so long since my last visit to Chili's so i was quite happy to be back. But too bad my friend don't have much appetite so we only ordered a salad and mashed potato to share.

But based on what i have seen and smelled last night, i will definitely be back again to try out the food! Hee! Now let's see what i had for dinner last night =)

Chicken Caeser Salad $17 - This was a good healthy choice! Vegetables were very fresh and crunchy, chicken is simple and a bit bland but thankfully for the dressing with croutons and Parmesan cheese, it all goes rather well.

Loaded Mashed Potatoes $4 - I loved mashed potatoes and this is nice with the bacon bits and cheese. Pretty good portion and can consider if you just want a simple side dish!

Wantan Mee Smile Apr 24, 2014

When i come to this coffeeshop, it's usually for the fishball noodles. As it was closed during one of my recent visit, it was a good chance for me to try out this wantan mee. According to the online reviews, it's thai style ( that explain the stall name ) which i think quite hard to find so i was quite excited to try it.

Looks nice when it arrived at my table but first impression was if it be bland cause not much sauce ( too used to our local version ). But it's actually not too bad when i took the first bite, feels quite like the one i had at Thailand. I poured all the chilli flakes into my noodles and i even took my mum's one cause she don't take spicy food. I like =)

They were quite generous with the ingredients and it was fresh. Overall i enjoyed my thai style wantan mee and i don't mind trying it again.

Breakfast Smile Apr 24, 2014

It was a rare weekday morning that i get to hang out in town! Had some time to spare before i start my busy day and i wanted somewhere quiet so Becasse was my top choice since i was at Ion. It was a perfect quiet surrounding

Saw egg royale on the menu and opt for that plus a flat white to complete my meal. It was a nice and quiet morning without the crowd, feels like i own the whole place.

I was served a glass of iced water and my flat white while i wait for my food. I like the little heart coffee art (it's always nice to enjoy looking at one).

The egg royale came looking really nice but first impression was the portion seems small. Maybe i am used to seeing 2 muffins topped with individual egg. Becasse version was everything one single muffin. Luckily it tasted good so it makes up for the small portion. And poached eggs were well done and i was so happy to see the oozing egg yolk full of goodness!

Overall the food didn't disappoint but still a bit bothered by their not so big portion (to me). May come back to try their main course to compare.

I have some vouchers to use and Beanstro was just nearby so i decided to pop by for free dinner. Hehe! All along i always quite like the Marina Square branch cause it's kind of nice, cosy and quiet.

Decided to try the Seafood Spaghetti cause i saw my friend having this and looks really good. And i wasn't disappointed. Both prawns and scallops were fresh, spaghetti texture was good, nice sauce and really tasty when you enjoy this hot =)  And i was pretty impressed with the size of the scallops, quite big! Totally worth the $14.50 in my opinion.

When the staff served me the spaghetti, i was told i can get to enjoy the soup which i must take it myself. Helped myself to a bowl when i was done with my pasta. Typical mushroom soup but it was hot so i enjoyed this quite a bit. Not bad at all.

Definitely will come back again if i have cravings for pasta!
