Kway Chap Smile Feb 09, 2014

My yummy kway chap lunch! I customized according to what i like - fatty meat, pig skin, salted vegetables and big intestines. All these including one bowl of kway is $4.50!

For kway chap, most importantly the various inner organs must be cleaned properly with no weird smell. This stall handled it pretty well and i always have a satisfying meal. Chilli is pretty good too and without fail, i will always take 2 servings of it =)

Seems like they appear on some food program on channel 8 and business has gotten even better!

Saw a friend posting maggie goreng on Instagram and i got cravings for it! Haha. Immediately head to a nearby stall for lunch the next day!

My $3.50 maggie goreng meal tasted good when i enjoyed it while it's hot. Taste for the maggie mee was pretty good, it be even better if can add more meat to it and the egg on top of it was nice and runny! Just the way i like it and washed it down with a cup of teh tarik! Perfect!

I frequent this corner zi char stall at this coffee shop and recently i decided to try venison hor fun $6 for the first time.

I was happy when i see the plate of yummy hor fun arriving at my table. Looked really good with it's presentation and i quickly start eating! Venison was tender, gravy was flavorful, hor fun was a nice smooth texture. I pair it with the sambal chilli, cutted red and green chilli, it was a heavenly combination!

Shui Kueh OK Feb 09, 2014

On this particular day, i wasn't too hungry and yet i don't want to skip lunch. Walked around and saw this shui kueh stall and decide to have this.

I choose the smallest portion of 4 pieces! Yummy rice cakes topped with diced preserved radish and served with chilli sauce. For less than $2, this makes a great simple meal. Rice cake texture was ok and the radish topping + the chilli sauce really enhanced the whole taste.

For a quick simple meal, this is a great choice =)

Fish Cake Noodle  Smile Jan 16, 2014

I noticed this fishball noodle stall before but never really wanted to try until recently. Was surprised when i see their menu as it has lots of variety! I think it can take you quite a while if you really want to try out everything. Haha!

For my first visit, i decided to try something basic like the fish cake noodle $3.80 and i was quite surprised by the generosity of the fish cake quantity. The noodles were of pretty good texture too and overall taste is quite good. They even included wolf berries in the soup which i think it adds a nice touch to it.

I will definitely be back to try out the other items =)
