Burger with minimal customization Smile Oct 25, 2013

Their menu are not extensive, and it doesn't seems to me as I can customize my burger from scratch... Anyway, the menu can be retrieved from their website.

A garnishing bar, that comes with every order you made. If you are not a veggie lover, probably it might not make a difference to you of its existence. Well, I do see some stuff I like, such as pineapple, cucumber, and meslcun? smile

Ordered the Chuck Tender ($12.80) from The Original Dio section. As described in the menu, it uses 100% fresh and non-frozen beef. Not sure how true it is, I had it medium-rare cooked, and did settled in my mouth quite comfortably smile

Since we wanted the Chili Beef Con Carne with Fries ($6.80), the crew suggested us to upgrade one of our burger, which require a top-up of $3.00 only, and receive a smaller protion of the fries. Best when served hot!
Another burger ordered was the DIO Trio Miniburgers ($14.80). Each mini burger has different content, such as Wagyu beef with bacon and cheese, Chicken thigh with bacon and cheese, and Barbeque pork with onion rings. Comes along with a portion of plain fries too. Probably a nice portion for kids to share among.

In contrast with their shop name, the term "Do It Ourselves" seems more like they do the burger by themselves. They may not have pages and pages of burgers, or any unique form of DIY-style for you to customize your own burger. But, their burgers are generally quite tasty, and worth the price paid.

Oyster lover? SKYVE brings in fresh juicy Australia oysters, letting their diners enjoy the the authentic yummy taste of oyster smile We had theMentaiyaki consisting of mentaiko, ebiko, lemon juice, and aioli. Chilean with serrano, lime juice, red wine vinegar. Lastly, Kilpatrick with lardon of bacon, worchestershire, and chives. Each cost $34 per half dozen.

Petuna and Ume Somen ($20.00), with seared petuna, ebiko, mango, chilli, sesame yuzu dressing, cold somen, and mesclun. Just mix the somen section and pair it with petuna.

SKYVE Beef Tartare ($22.00), with truffle egg yolk, cilantro dust, flat bread, ancho chilli aioli, and thyme sea salt. Mashed the beef and egg yolk together, and eat it with the flat bread.

Polenta Mushroom Stack ($34.00), consisting of mushroom fricassee, grilled portabello, polenta cakes, seasonal vegetables, and pesto. It is more of a vegetarian dish, which is rare to have vegetarian and "meaty" cuisines in a one place.

Sous Vide Poulet ($34.00), consisting of apricot glazed chicken, baby vegetables, candied pecans, and pommes puree. Chicken is well-glazed, and cooked till tender to chew smile

Spicy Kalbi Beef Short Ribs ($36.00), consisting of sous vide short ribs, spicy kalbi glaze, sauteed brocollini, and crispy root vegetable ribbons. Another beef dish lol It is indeed a little spicy, but beef is juicy still. Not forgetting how effortless it is to remove the beef from the ribs smile Vegetable ribbons have pumpkin and others, which I can't remember.

Lamb Rack ($40.00) contains grilled marinated lamb rack, dashi and miso vegetables, and chargrilled tomato momotaro. The sweet taste still lingers in my mouth as I wrote this! So yummy, that I hesitate between selecting my favorite among the beef and the lamb dish!

There was a queue when I reached, but I had my butt rested in less than 15 minutes.

Saucisson. Grilled French garlic and pork sausages served with their home-made black mission fig marmalade. The sausages are pretty juicy, and one of the sauce seems what like wasabi, but the black mission fig is sweet as it should be!

Braise de Poulet. Stew-cooked chicken leg with potato, onion, garlic and leek in white wine sauce. The soup is refreshing, and the chicken meat is tender smile

Poulet Rosti. This is the signature dish in Poulet! The chicken is brined for a full day and slow roasted till skin turns golden brown, and added with their home-made mushroom chardonnay sauce.

I had the half chicken, and I simply love their creamy mushroom chardonnay sauce, which is a nice combination with their chicken rosti :9

Caramelised Apple in Puffy Tart. Baked caramelised granny smith apple and almond paste in puffy tart served with vanilla ice cream. Liked this dessert, although the caramelised apple is a little sweety. But smudged it with the ice cream, it's just yummy!

In-flight ice cream? Smile Sep 16, 2013

Categories : Ice Cream and Gelato

I think $12.00 for their pint is quite worth it. Immerse yourself with the flavor you had chosen at the comfort of your home and time.

Also comes in standard and premium flavor, in scoop. We ordered 3 premium flavors plus 1 standard. Super like!

Butterscotch Nuts (bestseller) has the buttered walnuts in a whisky ice cream base, and the Rum Raisin flavor. Ribena Sorbet (standard flavor), and Brandied Cherry Choc. I love their brandied cherry choc among all 4 flavors we had tongue

Bright, spacious ice cream shop, and free sampling is allowed. I think their flavors are quite strong, thus if you had the Stout Chocolate (which I think is pretty unique), you can expect a strong stout taste tickling your tastebuds!

Delicious Jap food in Wisma! Smile Sep 13, 2013

You can order either ala-carte or bento. Like the feel of the wooden board as frame for their bento menu. While the ala-carte menu is in hardcopy.

Lining first, is Tokyo Ramen ($8.00) from the ala-carte menu. Ramen topped with char siew, spinach, fishcake, dried seaweed, bamboo shoot, and served with home-made soy-based broth. I love their broth, although it was salty to a certain level. Char siew is also another saviour to the overall dish as the noodle feels a little tough, as though not thoroughly cooked yet.

Following is Bento C ($12.90), from the bento menu. It has grilled chicken teriyaki, saba shioyaki, chawamushi, rice & soup. Chicken is yummy with a tinge of barbeque taste!

Finally, from the ala-carte menu as well, is the Shio

k!!! Maki ($16. They have two versions of the Shiok!!! Maki, but we had the first generation, which is combination of charcoal grilled eel wrapped with lightly roasted salmon. Roe was not the best I had, but overall this is still one dish that I could not stop with just a quantity of one... The second generation which we gave a miss, is actually replacing eel with crispy prawns.
