The FoodKueh Lapis is a must buy during chinese new year and it is also a nice snack to munch during tea time. I love the butter fragrant of this kueh lapis. It is baked with perfection, layer by layer. This can be quite addictive. If not for its high calories, I would eat more already. Thumbs up!!

The Price
Good kueh lapis comes with a good price as well. It was indeed more pricey. Not sure if Prima Deli increased its price during chinese new year, but it is still expensive. I guess kueh lapis is expensive in general anyway.

The Service
Service was pretty bad as it was really crowded. The staff cannot really handle.

The FoodIchiban boshi has always been my favorite place for Japanese food. One of my must order is Ichiban boshi's soft shell crab as I am a crab lover! This never fails to impress. It was good, I love how they placed the soft shell crabs too. You guys should give it a try!

The Price
I think it was quite reasonable for soft shell crabs.

The Service
The service was quite good. My water was refilled the moment I finished it. The waiter was very attentive.

The Food
I chose to buy this red bean paste bread as it is really huge. This attracted me as I am a red bean lover. It was not bad. There is quite a bit of red bean paste in it. I would love to have more red bean filling though.

The Price

The price of this red bean paste bread was very reasonable. Two dollars for such a huge portion. Very worth the price, as I doubt I can get this price from other bread stalls like Breadtalk.

The MenuThis is a menu during off peak hours at Ichiban boshi from 3 to 5.30pm. The waiter may not give you this menu, sometimes you got to ask for it as not many are aware of such deal too.

The FoodOut of the five items, I ordered Salmon Yukke Don. There are also udon and green tea served which are included in the off peak set I ordered. It was not bad as you got to taste both udon and rice. It was really worth it, given the price of just five dollars. I like it, both the food and the price.

Overall
I would definitely return for this deal if I managed to visit it at this time. If I am not wrong, Ichiban boshi even made an effort to change its off peak menu from time to time. Thumbs up for that!

The FoodThis time round I ordered chicken rice from Food Republic. I had drumstick white chicken. The chicken was tender as expected since I ordered drumstick. I like to eat my chicken rice with chilli and black sauce. It was a good combination.

The Ambience
It was crowded at that time since it was lunch time. I like how Food Republic always make an effort to design the area and make it pleasant to dine in.

The Price
The chicken rice was quite expensive compared to the neighborhood ones in the coffee shops.
