Not worth it  Cry Sep 29, 2013

I tried this quite some time back and I was really really disappointed. To think that the place is so well furnished and they have so many outlets, how can their pasta taste so bad? The pasta was obviously either overcooked or placed too long, so much so that they have expanded quite a bit. The seafood agio olio was worse because it tastes so bland. I will never go back again.

Not worth it  Cry Sep 29, 2013

The hollandaise sauce was not as generously drizzled over the poached eggs, and the salmon was just decent. The worse thing of all is that the eggs do not flow out as it should be. Well to be fair, this could be a decent eggs benedict but it won't hit my expectation considering I've tried Group Therapy's one.

We tried to play around with customizing a brunch dish, so we ordered another eggs on toast, with our choice of bacon strips, hollandaise sauce and avocado. The egg was probably boiled too long, giving it too hard a texture. The other toppings like bacon strips and avocado tasted much better. The bacons gave the savory taste when eaten with the toast.

Toast not worth it  Cry Sep 29, 2013

Tuna and cheese toasty melt $3.50/$6

I think this is a rather disappointing dish from wimbly lu cafe, a high raved restaurants by all cafe lovers.
I mean, this kinda toast can be easily prepared at home! It's just bread but toasted using the special device, with some tuna and cheese slices. I think this isn't worth the order so please try their dessert instead.

Not anymore  Cry Sep 25, 2013

Contrary to other reviews about this stall, i think mine wasn't very nice.
As much as I think this bowl of noodles is relatively cheap (S$2.50), I am going to say I will never visit this stall anymore. Part of the noodles are uncooked so you'll see fresh dough revealing. The tomyum soup was mediocre and there was no special thing about it. The vegetables taste raw and everything was real bad. I had reviewed on another handmade noodles stall, so you can check on my profile to view. That one is better.

Nonetheless, I agree the auntie was very cheerful and chatty.

Mediocre cupcakes quality Cry Sep 13, 2013

When we talk about cupcakes, the first thing we look at, or rather scrutinize, is the texture of the cupcake.
Is it moist and dense, or is it too crumbly?

For cupcakes with love, I honestly feel the latter. The cake texture is too dry and crumbly. It doesn't take together and crumbs would fall off so easily like nobody's business. I've tried better cupcakes and thus I didn't really like this version.

Oh well.
