Yummy ice cream Smile Sep 29, 2013

Dailyscoop does not have many exotic flavours like udders ice cream or toms' palette ice cream.
Their ice cream are decent but not one that you have to go all the way down to give it a try. The place is cozy but very crowded with NUS people since it's located in holland v.

I tried the minty mint ice cream and I love it! There's some chocolate chunks within the ice cream to add a texture to the ice cream.

Tie Ban Dou Fu /hotplate beancurd OK Sep 29, 2013

Since i've reviewed about twochefs before, I'll skipped those that I had. The one I newly tried was their Tie Ban Dou Fu /hotplate beancurd, priced from $8, 10 and 12.

I think it was quite badly done. As usual, diners would be expecting some vegetables or prawns to come with the beancurd, but I was shocked to see that there's only bean curd and a layer of fried egg underneath. Okay, so maybe we shouldn't be expecting what we have at other zhichar places!

Not worth it  Cry Sep 29, 2013

The hollandaise sauce was not as generously drizzled over the poached eggs, and the salmon was just decent. The worse thing of all is that the eggs do not flow out as it should be. Well to be fair, this could be a decent eggs benedict but it won't hit my expectation considering I've tried Group Therapy's one.

We tried to play around with customizing a brunch dish, so we ordered another eggs on toast, with our choice of bacon strips, hollandaise sauce and avocado. The egg was probably boiled too long, giving it too hard a texture. The other toppings like bacon strips and avocado tasted much better. The bacons gave the savory taste when eaten with the toast.

Toast not worth it  Cry Sep 29, 2013

Tuna and cheese toasty melt $3.50/$6

I think this is a rather disappointing dish from wimbly lu cafe, a high raved restaurants by all cafe lovers.
I mean, this kinda toast can be easily prepared at home! It's just bread but toasted using the special device, with some tuna and cheese slices. I think this isn't worth the order so please try their dessert instead.

Better than koi? OK Sep 29, 2013

Not sure about the rest but I thought artease stands out more from its competitors due to their fruity flavoured drinks. Nonetheless, I tried their milktea version and I think they are less sweeter and still able to retain and smooth milky texture of the milk tea.

If you would like to try other flavours, I recommend their fruity flavours and one that tastes good is the peach red tea smile
