Craving to have a cup of fresh fruit juice after my lunch, I head to coolman without much hesitation. Coolman sells not only cheap but also healthy fruit juice for the public. They also claimed that they did not add artificial flavouring in their juices. Their price is very reasonable. Single fruit at $2. Mix any 2 fruits at only $2.20. Just $0.20 more. I ordered their strawberry + soursop so it cost me $2.20 which I felt is cheap compared to some other places that is selling for $2.50. The drink is very refreshing and cooling. I can taste the sweet strawberry fruit and the soursop too. Shall try their yogurt drink in future.

Salmon and Teriyaki Chicken Bento OK Dec 26, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Food Court

A more cost effective alternative to eating Japanese food at restaurant would be at the food court. It's easier to find a seat too during peak period. I ordered their Salmon and Teriyako Chicken Bento. The food court even have a reward system that allows iPhone user to collect chops. Every 10 chops collected can be exchanged for a $2 voucher. Cool. The bento set have what the usual bento set have. The sour vegetables, meat, rice and soup. Only item that was missed out was fruits. Their teriyaki chicken and salmon meat are tender to the bite and loved the sauce. The teriyaki sauce was also poured onto the salmon. However, the rice is a bit hard.

I was shopping at Bugis Street when my stomach started growling. Just when I'm giving up hope of finding a snack stall in the middle of the fashion street, I saw this! Four youngsters in the stall. Two taking orders and preparing the drinks and the other two is making the crepes.

I was indecisive as to order the Mush mallow Choco or Egg Mayo Salada. In the end, I think I had too much chocolate so I ordered the egg mayo salada (egg, romaine, tomato, mayo)

After my order was taken, I stood aside waiting for it to be prepared on the spot. The guys were well trained and cooked the crepe calmly even though there was a long queue behind. I can see lots of ingredients were ended to my crepe.

It was delicious. The outer layer was piping hot and crispy but the middle part was soft and juicy as I bite into the chunks of tomatoes that were added in. It was a great snack to satisfy my sudden purge of hunger. lol

COOL Beancurd-in-a-cup Smile Dec 13, 2011

Eating beancurd from a bowl with a spoon is the usual style but this is the very first time I ate beancurd by sipping it up with a straw from a cup! It's really amazing and I think YummySoy is also the first in Singapore to have this cool product.

When YummySoy first opened, I admited that I was rather curious but still skeptical about this new shop during the first few days. In my mind, I was thinking, another Mr Bean? Or another Jollybean? Furthermore, a look at their menu, I realised they only sell beancurd, soymilk and freeze. No other snacks. Thus, for that few days, I merely walked past and even avoided trying their samples.

It was only until last Friday when my lady boss bought about ten cups of this and was exclaiming loudly to everyone in the office of how nice this was and gave us one each to try that I realised I must recommend this to everyone.

Not only is it tasty, it's also healthy to drink this compared to drinking soft drinks. It's freshly made daily, lactose free for those who are lactose intolerance and high in calcium. Not only that, they also used 100% GMO-Free Soybeans and their products are naturally trans fat free! Wow. Anyway, their beancurd in a cup is a must try. Have a sip and when you talked to other people, they can also smell the nice soybean smell coming out from your mouth at a distance. No joke!

TRY it or regret! tongue

While passing by McDonald, saw this interesting new flavour. Double Lime Sundae! Decided to buy one and try it. To my surprise, it wasn't very sour as I expected. It was kind of sweet and I like it a lot. Cooling and refreshing. What's more, they have even added Nata De Coco inside. The Nata De Coco was green in colour. Looks slimy.
