The original frozen yoghurt that I grew up with! I love the peach flavoured one and can eat the jumbo-sized one in a jiffy! Even the original flavoured one is good, even without the frills such as the nuts, cereals, fruits that you can add on. The yoghurt is more icey than creamy and the flavour is delicate rather than full-on, so you won’t get sick of it no matter how much you have!

Creamy frozen Yoghurt Smile Apr 29, 2013

Categories : Café | Ice Cream and Gelato

The bright colours and catchy albeit naughty phrases (which made me laugh) showcased all over this frozen yoghurt outlet first caught my eye. As a big fan of Yoghurt I simply had to try it! The yoghurt here has a rather milky and creamy taste which makes it delicious! Try the original flavoured yoghurt for starters before proceeding to the other flavours for comparison!

I would say the fare at Everything with Fries is average save for their Grilled Pork Chop. The pork chop is thick and succulent and a very good dish if you’re craving for something to sink your teeth in. However, I feel that despite all the raves over their Nutella Cake, it is over-rated. Upon first bite, their Nutella cake is indeed chocolaty, fudgey and moist but once you continue to eat it, you’ll start to realize that it is overwhelmingly sweet! You can even see the sugar crystals aplenty in the crust! Be it whether it was under mixed or purposefully so, the effect is such a turnoff.

If you’re a scone fan like me, the Rose Veranda’s high tea has got to be among the top of your list for scones in Singapore. The scones are freshly made and taste light and buttery. With their tea set, you get refillable plates of sandwiches and scones. I usually just ask the staff to refill mine with the smoked salmon sandwiches. They have an extensive variety of teas here and are simply lovely but I can’t help but order their hot chocolate, which is the perfect indulgence to have while whiling your afternoon away.

Spending per head: Approximately $45

Huge buffet spread! Smile Apr 29, 2013

One of the best buffets in Singapore; their international food spread over here is amazing! From fresh seafood like Alaskan crab, Oysters, prawns to their Italian station with al dente pastas, to Chinese stir frys, noodle soup and so on, you are loss for choice over here! Try the fluffy pieces of Naan from the Indian station, very yummy. My one major regret is that every time I’m here and by the time I’m done with my mains I’m far too full for dessert, which is a huge pity since their dessert bar looks so pretty! Till next time!

Spending per head: Approximately $90(Dinner)
