For late-night desserts! OK Apr 18, 2013

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

Sometimes looking for a place to chill out after an evening movie can be hard since many places don't serve food so late. But thankfully, TCC isn't one of them! smile I like there desserts and there are desserts aplenty for those with a sweet tooth! Zestiny is a refreshing one with Lime Parfait topped with raspberries and puffs and sticks of meringue. If that sounds too sweet for you, try the Cappuccino Cheesecake Dream for that bitter-sweet coffee hit!

So-so ramen OK Apr 18, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen | Kids-Friendly

Ramen here was alright. I tried a Sapporo Kyushu ramen which is a ramen in a pork-based broth. The soup wasn’t too heavy and hence easily downed with the ramen. Noodle-wise, I wasn’t a fan of the thick noodles. The service here was good and staff was attentive. All in all, I deem the ramen here decent and satisfying if you’re hungry and cold, but nothing great that will make me want to come back.

If you have a meat craving... OK Apr 17, 2013

Feeling in the mood for a meaty meal, my friends and I decided to go to Seoul Garden for their endless supply of meats in their All-You-Can-Eat Buffet! With their range of marinated meats, you can satisfy your meat cravings here! The hot food available is only alright, and consists mostly of fried food. Be prepared to come out having your hair and clothes smelling strongly of smoke.

All the generic sushi you want  OK Apr 17, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Sushi/Sashimi | Kids-Friendly

Came here to try their cheap sushi buffet. I suppose what they lack in quality they make up in having abundance. Ouch! I know that sounds harsh, but their sushi is alright tasting and nothing spectacular. The fact that it is a buffet just makes it worth it to stuff your face with all the sushi you can eat and then some. So if you're looking for just that, this is the place to go!

Came here with the family for a spot of dim sum, had so many 'long zi'; hao gao, siew mai, baked char siew bao, century egg porridge, which were very good. The service here is very efficient, our tea cups were always promptly filled up without us having to tell any of the waitresses. The egg tarts however, being something I look forward to at the end of every dim sum meal was stale tasting and cold.
