From far you will be able to smell the strong pan fried smell from Pepper lunch restaurant .

Thanks to the voucher that Temasek poly gave ( open house ) My friends and i decided to go to the nearby pepper lunch at AMK and have our lunch.

In the first place, all of us were in a confused state as we don't know what to choose !

SO we spent about 15 minutes before we had our orders,as we went ahead the counter we saw a big signboard that state " a set meal of 4 for $20 " WE were thinking - if we have known it earlier we won't be wasting our time and had our stomach churning loudly!!!

But sad enough, the meal consist of one beef pepper rice , one salmon rice , two soft drink , two salad and two ice-cream ! BUT NONE of us eat BEEF so we asked them if we can change to other meat. Disappointed , the staff told us that the meal is fix and cannot not change .

In the end, we took the meal as it is still worth it compare to individual order.

The salmon is still ok , not that fresh, while for the beef pepper lunch my friends comment that it is not as nice as what she though .

However , their concept is definately is creative !

Went to bugis to shop for clothes and try out the chewy junior !!!

the first thought that came across my mine is chewy !

however, after a few taste . i regretted !

I felt that it is like you left a cone outside for few hours and it became soft ...and "chewy"

Perhaps the flavour i tried is not that appetising maybe i should try next flavour , the other time !

Even though, the chewy puff is not what i expected but their service is good !

I think it credited to the staffs' hardwork , you can see that they are standing outside the shop trying to let passers-by try the sample .'Thumb up '

Had no idea what to eat till i came across the lotus thai food stall.

Th menu were all over the counter so that customer can easily glance the food . the prices are stated clearly ! which is good.

Besides that, there were also few newspaper reviews about the main restaurant.

I am in dilemma between the olive rice ( $4 ) and thai pineapple rice ( $4.50 )

Just then, i saw an interesting sentence in the newspaper review that say ".......the pineapple rice taste the best ..."

i guessed you knew what i was going to order ! haha

ok , so i ordered the pineapple rice, the wasting time is very short which is good as it was during peak hours . i waited for 4-5 mins

the presentation is also very appetising , but ... results are not known till i taste the rice.

the first mouth of rice was delicious , but after a few mouthful , i found it oily and full .

other than that , the pineapple rice is average.
the ingredient - cucumber , prawns , etc

PRAWN was the one that i gave a three star rates , it is not fresh at all . Moreover, the prawn is not well prepared. As its' "Digested thing " is still in the body. !

the soup , is very salty and sour !

Besides the above that i mentioned the rest is ok .

Next time , i would like to try their olive rice whereby there is NO PRAWN in it !

Tried their cakes and bread !

they sold tiny cakes with difference flavours !

sometimes ,,,you make even witness a short queue

the cake is prices at $1.20

i tried the custard card , smell nice but i think they add too much vanilla essence and sugar .

anyway...will buy again when i past by..

and the cake is also a bit similar to four leaves bakery shops ... haven try the four leaves version...but will do so soon ^ ^

As you walk past AMK , you will never fail to notice their banner and signboard of Sumo house Jap restaurant.

Even though they said , their jap food is the cheapest but i feel that there is not completely right....

Although,their have cheapest Katsudon which is only $2.90...but there is only one price at $2.90..while the rest is$2.90 and above......

they said they provided free flow of green tea but do take note that is HOT green tea .

i ordered the $2.90 while my friend ordered another one at $5.90 and a cold drink which cost around $1.20.

both come with two slices of orange, one small vege and one miso soup.

the chicken is mostly chicken skin as few were meat.....no wonder it causes $2.90...

i guessed my friend's one was better.........

anyway...as for me ...i will not return to the shop again as there are many other nice food in AMK compare to sumo house.
