Mango Sago Smile Jan 03, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Chinese Desserts | Desserts and Cakes

Desserts are always the best choice to have after a meal. Therefore, i decided to order a Mango Sago at Honeymoon Dessert. One of the reason why i order Mango Sago is that many of the reviewers had tried it out and most of the verdicts were pretty good. Hence i gave it a try for the Mango Sago. As you can see from the photo being shoot, the mango is real and thick ! Whats more there are alot alot really alot of Sago inside. So if you are a sago mango lover, you should try! The mango is not sour too, taste sweet and fresh. Portion wise is good especially when we just have a meal ahead. This is really a dessert place to go after meal lol

Categories : Hawker Centre

Bought hup lee bee hoon during lunch (: As the stall are being recommended by the residents staying at nearby area. Hence, I decided to give it a try. To my surprised, their bee hoon was awesome ! Heir bee hoon was soft and not too dry. Usually, I will get those dry and hard to swallow down kind and dry.bee hoon at other hawker centre. however, hup lee beehoon was different! The cabbage was juicy and crunchy tongue It cost only 2.20 !

Spending per head: Approximately $2.20

Place to eat at USS Smile Jan 02, 2012

After a playing for a whole day at USS, we went to Loui's NY Pizza Parlour for dinner. When we went in, we saw an interesting scene which is the way they served the pizza on a metal level up plate.

this is different from the usual one like we see in a pan or tradition wooden plate. The pizza served is so big that it is so much for the 4 of us. I also tried their mushroom soup, thick and creamy. smile It is quite an unique dining experience at here. I will definitely go back again.

Fried tofu at XIn Wang Smile Dec 31, 2011

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

Was with friends shopping around Somerset area before we decided to settle down at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe.chopstickbowl Besides the usual fried rice and soup noodle, we add another new dish recommended by the staffs there which is this fried tofu (see attached image). The tofu skin was very crispy and it goes very well with the sweet and spicy sour which i feel that it was like the thai style tofu. The portion served was generous and pricing wise is also reasonable. Well go back for another attempt of fried tofu ;)
