I went to take away lotus root soup for dinner. It is only $2.20. It is cheap but with only 3 pieces of lotus roots and a very small piece of pork rib in it. The taste of the soup was quite plain, not much taste of lotus root. The lotus root tasted a bit hard too. That piece of pork rib has got very little meat stick to a big piece of bone.
It is cheap but not value for money. I rather pay more for a better soup from other place.

I got this deal off a voucher online. I came without making a reservation and with no problem because the cafe was very empty for lunch. I was given a list with all the items for this buffet. I was told to make only 1 order with all the items that i want to eat. I ordered a few types of prata and naans with chicken and fish curry sauce. They served the pratas and naans on paper plates. The plain one tasted better than cheese one as it got very little cheese taste. The rest tasted very normal too. Not recommended.

I could not remember the name of this salad but i remember i did not like it. It was a pile of different types of vegetable and sun dried tomatoes served with no sauce and no dressing. Maybe it did come with dressing but the waiting staff did not serve it? i ended up had it with their peri peri sauce to finish it. I will just go for their grilled chicken and side dishes next time and skip their salad.

I ordered this chocolate cake after came across a few reviews dated in 2009. I thought the standard is still the same. I went to collect the cake after my dinner. I am a chocolate cake lover but this one is really not nice. The cake did not taste like freshly baked, it is like the leftover from previous day. The chocolate has not much chocolate taste and too sweet. I will not order again.

Chocolate chips cookie? it did not taste quite like it. It has quite a handful of chocolate chips on the cookie but none in the cookie itself. It did not have any buttery taste and rather rough and dry in texture. Though it is only $1.00 but i would rather get some other buns than this chocolate cookie. I am quite sure this is going to be the first and the last time.
