Pantler is a newly opened cake shop in CBD area, locate on Telok Ayer Street. It is opened by two pastry chefs who used to work at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Joel Robuchon Singapore.The interior decoration is very simple but comfortable.Cannot decide which one to have when so many choices come to my eyes, all of them looks so delicious. I wish my stomach is big enough to have all of them.Classic Mont Blanc ($8.5), which is my all-time favorite, with very lovely looking.The chestnut cream is smooth and creamy, and not over-sweetened as i tried in some other places. The cream inside was also very delight. The best part of the piece is actually the blueberry cake base, which brought a touch of sourness to balance the whole piece.Starberry Shortcake ($7.80), another piece makes us mouth-watering.The spongecake was very light and fluffy, but still cannot beat over Flor’s. The whipped cream was melting and light, and the sourness of the strawberry jam perfectly balanced out.

Pantler is a really lovely place to go for a sweet-hunting. All the cakes looks very delicious and i believe that they taste as good as they looks, at least my Mont Blanc experience here was fantastic. While i think the cakes here are little bit overprice compare to other cake shops, because the size is quite smaller than other shops. But trust me, it really worth to go because the quality is quite high as well. Will be back and try more!
