Ben & Jerry's at Dempsey is a nice place to chill after dinner.
And who doesn't love Ben & Jerry's ?
I always had a hard time deciding which flavor to order.
This time I tried some special sundae, it's not banana split but some banana royale or something can't remember the name.
So you get to choose the ice cream flavor, sauce and topping and they will add sliced banana in.
For mine, it's a combination of Chocolate therapy, sliced banana, caramel and sliced almonds.
Awesome!!!lol

Went to Everything with fries upon hearing the interesting flavors of fries they offer.
Ordered the grilled cheese and ham sandwich and cheese burger.
Both dishes are fine.
Since it's everything with fries, the main focus here is the fries.
They have two types to choose from: Shoestring(thin fries) and straight cut(thick fries)
five different flavors: Original, Curry, Salt & Vinegar, Sour Cream and Onion, Garlic and herbs.
I prefer shoestring fries.
Honest speaking, the fries are not fantastic and actually nothing much special.

For service wise, it was good, waiter was attentive.
I like the interior design of the restaurant too.

Bbq seafood OK May 28, 2011

Firstly, service wise not good.
We waited for more than 20 minutes for our bbq stingray and kangkong to come.
So my friend went to ask whether it will be ready soon.
One of the helpers said you need to ask the person you ordered from.
End up, they completely forgotten about our order.
Bad coordination, didn't even take down our order.
At least they did apologize.

Food wise, disappointed.
Bbq stingray came, it tasted fine but it was not hot.
The sambal kang kong was not very nice, and it was expensive, costing the same as the bbq Stingray.

I had a sudden craving for Kfc's crispsy fried chicken.
So head down to westmall and take away a two piece chicken meal.
I like the crispy skin and juicy meat of chicken, it is quite oily though.
It is spicy but in a shiok way.
I like their sides, coleslaw and whipped potato a lot.
The meal would have been perfect with Kfc's awesome cheese fries.

Kfc's service is good, like their buddy meal concept.

Recommended Dish(es):  Crispy chicken, coleslaw, whipped potato, cheese fries, zinger burger

Kway Chap OK May 28, 2011

Categories : Food Court

I know usually people eat Kway Chap with the kway. But this time round i decided to go for a change and order the rice.
The kway chap is okay, portion just nice.
The soup has a light herbal taste which i like.

Other than their kway Chap, i like their speciality duck rice( with tofu, braised egg and braised peanuts) Their duck meat is tender and lean, stew sauce is good.
Definitely worth the price.

Recommended Dish(es):  Speciality duck rice
