I ordered the garlic cheese onion rings out of curiousity. It has got an interesting sounding name but i felt disappointed when tasted it out. It did not have any distinctive garlic nor cheese taste. It tasted just like the normal onion rings available in big packet in supermarkets. They fried it then sprinkled a little bit of cheese powder on top of the onion rings. It has only got 10% of the cheese taste spread out unevenly.

I enjoyed this snack box quite a lot. It consists of french fries, a burger and a piece of chicken. It is good for people like me that love to have the best of both worlds. The portion is just nice to fill up a hungry tummy. The fried chicken tasted abit oily and not too crispy. The burger seemed to be a better choice. It tasted rather nice with juicy patty. The french fries tasted a bit soggy so not too nice.

This was given by my family doctor for my birthday. It is a nice chocolaty cake with chocolate mousse sandwiched in between the layer of sponge cake. The level of sweetness was just right for a diabetic patient like myself. The cake is nicely decorated with little chocolate flowers and dust with chocolate powder. It still tasted good even left it in fridge till next day.

My son brought me here. He said this stall serves the best handmade noodle in Singapore. He got me curiousity about it. I tried it for the first time and fallen in love with it. I ordered the ban mian with prawns and sliced fish. The ingredients tasted extremely fresh. It was so fresh that i can taste the natural sweetness out of it. The nicely cooked ban mian was served in tasty stock. They added in the crispy ikan belis before they served. The super spicy chilli brought the flavour out of this bowl of ban mian and enhanced it.

Toast Box is not only famous for its coffee but its curry chicken too. I guess not many people know about their curry chicken. I like the level of spiciness of the curry gravy. It is not overwhelmed but a comforting spiciness that spice up the dish. It goes well with the bread. The texture of both the chicken and the potato was nicely cooked. It still tasted firm and not too mushy. It goes well with their coffee.
