Had my dinner here on national day after visiting the flea market at scape that day. They had a $5 voucher given to us and thus we decided to spend it here at toastbox! The moment we entered, we could already smell the curry chicken and it was really tempting. Hence we chose the curry chicken set that was priced at $6.30. It comes with a drink that is either ice coffee or kumquat jelly drink. Did not know what is the kumquat jelly drink about but chose it as it seems rather refreshing. The curry chicken took very long to come despite the person mending the cashier telling us that it would take 10 minutes, end up it took 20 minutes to come. They were short handed that day so i would understand the long waiting time required. The curry chicken is really worth it as there are 3 chicken wings in it and also some tau pok and some potato.

KL hokkien mee Smile Aug 13, 2012

As it was my first time at Rasapura Masters for dinner, i did not know what to eat and just wander around. There were a lot of stalls but in the end i chose this stall as i saw the huge picture of their KL Ancient Hokkien Mee and i was immediately drawn to it. Had to wait for almost 15 mins for my food to be ready as they took a really long time to finish cooking it as there were also other orders as well. I love the hokkien mee and inside there are also cabbage, meat, fishcake. Feel that the price is kind of steep at $6.80 for a plate of hokkien mee.

Yummy! Having my favourite lao ban bean curd once again. Actually i was quite shocked that when i was at maxwell at 8.30pm there was still a lot of bowls of bean curd left at their stall, i think they must have increase their quantity by a lot to cope with the increasing demand of their awesome bean curd. I have always chose the original flavour as it is the one i like the most rather than the almond flavour. The bean curd is so smooth and so silky that you can't help but wish to have another bowl after finishing your first one.

It has been quite some time that i last had mcdonald's french fries as i am trying to cut down on fast food recently. Had cravings for their fries and thus ordered their fillet o fish meal and even upsized it too. I think it is more worth it to upsize the meal as you get a large fries and also a large drink too. As now it is the olympics period, they are also giving out the free glass cup for collection thus making the upsize meal more worth it. The fillet o fish burger was hot and great to eat with chili.

This stall has been my favourite duck stall since many years back. I love how their braised duck is so tender and they are also rather generous with their portion too and it comes with a half braised egg too. I like to ask them to add more of the sauce on my rice as it really taste great. You can also choose to add the tofu to your rice too if you would like to. The stall owner are also very friendly and despite it being a long queue at lunch time, they are able to prepare your food rather quickly and thus shortens the waiting time too.
