Situated at a corner (opposite Cedele) in Great World City, its not a strategic location where it's easily noticeable.

I only spotted it today after many visits to this shopping mall.

Not a very big place but there are enough dining tables to house a crowd.

Love the way they decor and renovated the place - a very warm & cozy environment.

We were famished so we made a quick decision and went for their Irresistible 3 course Set Lunch without taking time to run through their ala carte menu.

Irresistible 3 course Set Lunch (S$16.80++)
3 course set lunch includes starter, main & dessert. You can top up S$3 for selected beverage.

Starter
Soup of the Day OR Garden Salad with House Dressing.
Onion Soup, Garden Salad

Soup of the Day - Onion Soup
Taste is not too bad but I find its not thick enough. The bread that came with it is crispy with a little burnt taste.

Garden Salad with House Dressing
Fresh greens makes a healthy start of the meal. Mixed with the house dressing, which I feel it tastes like balsamic vinegar, gives this a refreshing taste.

Mains
Linguine with Shredded Braised Lamb OR Pan Fried Dory Fillet OR Grilled Boneless Chicken Leg OR Australian Sirloin Steak OR Open Fish Sandwich.

And......our choice of the day......

Linguine with Shredded Braised Lamb
Braised lamb is tender but the gamey taste of the lamb is a little strong. Nonetheless, this is indeed a tasty dish.

Australian Sirloin Steak served with Thick Cut Fries and Mesclun Salad
Medium done. Very juicy and tender sirloin steak, it's deliciously good even on its own. I finished the whole piece in a flash. The thick cut fries was also fabulous with its lightly salted flavouring.

Dessert
Pepper's Tiramisu OR Panna Cotta with Berry Coulis OR Single Scoop Kapiti Ice Cream.

Our sweet tooth craving today......

Pepper's Tiramisu
Creamy texture and the rum & coffee taste is just right, not too overly strong. Just one word - Marvellous!

Panna Cotta with Berry Coulis
Panna cotta taste a tad too sweet. However, the sourness in the berry coulis neutralises the sweetness. Yummilicious!

Overall dining experience was pleasant and the delicacies served definitely satisfy my hunger.

After the not too satisfying visit at their Jurong Point outlet previously, I didn't plan to pay them a visit again till I chanced upon their Harbourfront outlet.

Here I am giving them a second chance.

Food was served rather fast since its the quiet hours. Staff were also quick in service even though we visited at a time when they are having their meal break. The service provided at this outlet is much better than what I experienced at Jurong Point.

On a rainy evening, we ordered hot beverages to start off our meal.

Hot Green Tea (S$2.50)
Nothing special, just the usual that can be found in other Korean restaurants.
The usual 🍵🍵🍵

Hot Plum Tea (S$3.90)
This is definitely an appetite awakener. Between its sweetness is a tinge of sour taste making this refreshing to the stomach. Aid in digestion too if taken after meal.

Bossam (S$6.90)
Pork belly wrap. The pork belly here was served hot, better than the one I had in Jurong Point which was cold when served to the table. Wrap the pork belly, cut chilli, garlic and all into the leafy vegetable - enjoy it the Korean way.

Chef's Bibim Guksoo (S$13.90)
Signature pork bulgogi dried noodles. With two chilli level of spiciness, you can't really taste the spice at all. The tender sauteed pork bulgogi is delicious with the soft onion and cabbage. Mixed it up with the shredded crunchy seaweed and the luscious chilli Jang, makes this chilled dish superbly tasty.

Hmmm...though Vietnamese food has never really been my cup of tea, however there are no compelling reasons for me to avoid it. So...here I am, under the urge of my friend, checking this place out for the first time. Maybe a little late but better than never.

As many of you would have already know, you have to join the queue, place & make payment for your order before proceeding to take a seat and wait to be served.

Upon entry, I noticed on each and every table, various sauces are placed for convenient usage for those who prefer stronger flavour of their food.

If you are a fan of Pho and would like to have it at the comfort of your home, you can purchase their instant Pho at S$2.50 each. The non instant version are also available for sale.

Breakfast sets are available on weekdays (excluding public holidays) from 8am to 10am (except Suntec City & Owen Link outlets), with choice of any banh mi or any pho (excluding pho wagyu beef steak slices) at S$6.50 & S$8.50 respectively. They also serve value lunch set (for a limited time only) which includes duo of steamed tapioca cake & Hue shrimp rice cake + choice of your favourite pho at S$9.90. All their breakfast & lunch sets comes with a beverage, choose between Viet black coffee (hot or iced) / Viet coffee with condensed milk (hot or iced) / Lotus tea (hot or iced) / Bottled water.

We went for ala carte orders instead as their sides and desserts are also part of our cravings.

Pho Beef Combination (S$10)
Pho with medium rare beef steak slices, beef balls, beef shank, tendon and honeycomb tripe. All the beef are tender but the broth is a little bland in taste. Add in various sauces to make this tastier.

Greens and chilli peppers are not our favourite so our banh mi have both of these omitted.

Grilled Chicken, Egg Omelette, Chicken Floss (S$6.90)
Chicken floss and egg omelette are ingredients that goes well with bread. The grilled chicken is tasty and tender with the toasted baguette a little crispy and soft.
Tender chicken, crispy soft baguette

S-Spice Pulled Beef, Chicken Floss (S$6.90)
Have tasted quite a few pulled pork sandwiches but its the first for pulled beef. Though it states spice pulled beef but its not really spicy. In fact its delicious and taste a little like rendang.

Now its time for us to attack the sides,or what they call small plates, and dessert.

Crispy Fried Chicken Wings, Caramelised Roasted Onion-Flavoured Fish Sauce, Sesame Seeds, Pickles (S$5.50)
Covered with a layer of flour and fried till crispy, the wings are indeed finger licking good. Coated with caramelised roasted onion-flavoured fish sauce, this is definitely the highlight of this dish.

Crispy Fried Prawn & Pork Rolls (S$5.50)
Taste a little like ngor hiang just that this is wrapped with vietnamese rice paper. Fried till crispy, dipped into the sauce to enhance its flavour.

Crispy Fried Sweet Potato Rolls (S$5)
Sweet potato is one of my favourite. Though the taste is not too bad, somehow feels that the rice paper doesn't matches so well with the sweet potato.

Viet Coffee with Condensed Milk - Iced (S$3.50)
Not very satisfying for my dining partner who is a coffee lover.

Refreshing! Taste very different from our local sugarcane juice. This has a tinge of peppermint yet not too overpowering.

Hongkong! Cantonese cuisine! Dim sum! My favourite! Boy, was I thrilled when I saw this place. Can't wait to check it out.
Tastefully renovated restaurant

Tastefully renovated restaurant

Tastefully renovated with a class of its own, My Dining Room not only serves fine cuisine but also provides excellent service. Polite & attentive staff keeps filling up your cup with tea and changes your plate every now and then.
Wide variety

Wide variety

Thinking of having gatherings and prefer a little privacy? You can make advance booking for their private rooms. However, a minimum spending must be met. Alternatively, you can just enjoy their cuisine at their open dining area.

And......my dim sum Sunday brunch starts now!

Baked Abalone Pie 崧化鲍鱼批 (S$8, 3pcs)
When east meets west. Creamy pie with crispy pastry and two little abalone inside. My first reaction was - abalone pie!? A bite into it immediately makes my doubts disappear. Smoothness of the creamy base with the springy texture of the abalone plus the crispy pastry, everything complements so well with each other. No wonder its a dish that is highly recommended by the staff.

Baked Char Siew Bun with Butter 雪山叉烧包 (S$6, 3pcs)
One may wonder, this is a common item that you can find in most chinese restaurant that serves dim sum. Agree, but we still went ahead with the order since this is also one of the item that the staff recommended.

The 'snow mountain' part was semi crispy with the softness of the bun combining with the not so sweet char siew filling, this is indeed fantastic. The best that I have tasted thus far.
Not too sweet filling

Mini Egg Tart 康力蛋挞仔 (S$5.20, 3pcs)
One of the must have when I go for dim sum. The one they serve here is quite good. Crispy and fluffy pastry with very strong egg taste. Yummilicious!

Steamed Shrimp Dumpling 水晶鲜虾饺 (S$6, 4pcs)
Thinned skin with fresh prawns. Not too bad but no distinctive factor.

Steamed Chicken Feet with Chilli Sauce in Sichuan Style 蒸川椒凤爪 (S$5.20)
This taste a little spicier than the ones you find elsewhere. Its no surprise as it already states Sichuan Style. Chicken feet is steamed till soften together with the sauce makes this a tasty dish.
Spicier than elsewhere

Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce 豉汁蒸排骨 (S$5.20)
Spare ribs was not exactly tender which is a little disappointing. Overall taste is not bad, similar to what you can find at other restaurants.
Just the norm...

Steamed Custard Bun 奶皇流沙包 (S$5.20, 3pcs)
Though this is served hot and the custard is runny, it's a little letdown as I find the bun skin slightly thick and the custard lacking the salted taste.
Lacking the salted taste

Marinated Duck Wing 五香卤水鸭翼
Another recommended dish by the staff. I had my reservations on ordering this as duck meat are usually quite tough. Surprisingly, the duck wing in this warm dish is really tender. Thumbs up for the recommendation.
Really tender duck wing

Mashed Taro Paste with Gingko Nuts 福果甜芋泥 (S$6)
Strong taro taste with smooth and slightly lumpy texture. They have made this deliciously good considering this comes from a cantonese restaurant.

Dragon Fruit in Ice with Red Wine 火龙果红酒雪 (S$6)
A very refreshing icy dessert. The jelly doesn't taste too sweet pairing with the dragon fruit. Added with red wine which brings the flavour to another level yet not too overpowering. A must try if you like cold desserts.

A very pleasant dining experience even though its a little pricey but the quality of the food using the finest ingredients plus the excellent service makes your every cents worth.

Being a dessert lover, I usually will not miss any chance on trying out new desserts. Having tried llao llao & Honey Creme, Milk & Honey has become the next on my list.

We have postponed this trip many times due to our busy schedules which we eventually had to purchase coupons to make it happen.

The shop is not occupying a very big space but it's enough to accommodate their flow of customers.

Cute cushion not only makes the seats more comfortable but also liven up the whole place.
Liven up the whole place

The deal for our coupons is to choose any 2 of their signature yoghurt parfaits for the price of 1. So we get to choose 4 for our 2 coupons.
Quite a number of varieties

Quite a number of varieties

Quite a number of varieties to choose from and we decided on the 3 recommended parfaits plus our common favourite flavour.

Healthy Mix (S$7.80)
Yoghurt with fresh blueberries, strawberries & mango, topped with green tea meringue & white chocolate ring drizzled with raspberry sauce.

Yoghurt goes well with the fresh fruits. The raspberry sauce taste a little artificial though. White chocolate ring & green tea meringue are not too sweet whereas the yoghurt is a little sour in taste.

Chocolate Divine (S$9.80)
Paired with white chocolate crumble, brownie & dark chocolate ganache, drizzled with chocolate sauce and final touching up with chocolate twister & macaroon.

Definitely for chocolate lovers. Brownie & dark chocolate ganache is soft and rich in flavour. Macaroon is not too sweet too.
For chocolate lovers

Royal Honey (S$8.80)
Honey crystal jello & crunchy crumble are hidden in between the yoghurt with honey popcorn at the side. Decorated with orange chip & white chocolate stick with honey parfait right at the top.

The best of the four.

The crunchy crumble gives this a more textured feel. Honey crystal jello & honey popcorn are a little on the sweet side and the texture of the honey parfait taste just like a marshmallow.
Best of the four

Best of the four

Matcha (S$9.80)
Right at the bottom lies Azuki red beans and green tea crumble just above with green tea meringue at the sides. Sprinkled with chocolate pearls and decorated with white chocolate stick & green tea parfait.

Green tea meringue is crunchy but the Azuki red beans doesn't taste as good. Marshmallow-like green tea parfait is not too sweet. Overall, this doesn't have a very strong green tea taste.
Not so strong green tea taste

One of the main attraction of Milk & Honey would be the artisanal yoghurt they served. With so many foodies out there, their yoghurts are indeed pretty enough for the camera.
