Freshly cut sashimi~ Smile Jul 28, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

5:22pm
We had two of our favourite dishes at Fishmarket Anchorpoint, namely Salmon sashimi and bacon maki. As we were looking to share the sashimi among four people, we chose the largest portion at 22.5 dollars. Upon serving, the portion of sashimi were much more than expected. It tasted chewy and fresh. The bacon maki had its asparagus wrapped by thin slices of bacon. The freshness of the vegetable blends in well with the oil and seasoning of the bacon, making the dish less sinful to indulge in!

Eat Herbal! Smile Jul 28, 2013

It was one of the rare chances that I can get to eat my lunch at tanjong pagar. I was there because my company sent me there to attend course. Well, everywhere was crowded during lunch time. Thus i made my way to the Tanjong Pagar Xchange where i presumed that there were lesser people dining there. I ordered the Herbal chicken soup and the brown rice came with vegetable and peanuts. It was quite a proper and sufficient lunch serving for my appetite. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends if they're seeking for a hassle free and healthy quick fix during peak hours!

Supper at Mcdonalds Smile Jul 28, 2013

I had my late night supper at mcdonalds with a nuggets meal. I changed the drink to the newly launched Rose McFizz and it tasted like a gasey syrup drink. My nuggets meal came with curry sauce, honey mustard sauce and the curry powder for the fries. The curry powder tasted not too bad as compared to other powders like tom yam and seaweed powder which i've tried with the fries before.

Hearty Ramen Smile Jul 27, 2013

Ordered the bamboo chicken which I have been craved for a long time. It came with a sauce plate of egg yolk for dipping. The dish was served pippin' hot and it tasted as good as the first time I ate it 2 years ago. My main dish was the signature Sanpou Ramen (Tonkotsu). It contains three treasures of Toroniku (braised pork cheek), Cha Shu (braised pork belly in char siew sauce) and Buta Kakuni (braised pork belly in special sauce) with black onion sauce. Was surprised by the amount of meat they provided. It was so much more than expected. The waitress was kind enough to give us a small plate of stir fry chilli chives. It was quite spicy and I only managed to take a little bit. Green tea was free flow and its awesome. Pleasant casual eating experience at ramenplay for a friday evening.

Sweet sweet dessert Smile Jul 27, 2013

This was my second bowl of BlackBall signature. This dish comes with crushed ice topped with abundance of goodies such as grass jelly, honey yam, pearls, read bean, nata d coco, green bean, fresh milk and more. Its definitely one of the best desserts to end of your meal. I find that the portion is quite huge for 1 person, thus it may be a good idea to share it with another friend too.
