bought the deals from online and went to bugis to have the steamboat with friendscomplimentary abalone rice from the deals
the gravy is not nice, thicken type and very weird, abalone is the mini type, which i dont have any expect coz of the price.. but i like the rice, haha its quite nice rice to eat. soup base
we chose the herbal chicken soup and sichuan spicy soup base. not nice, the soup is bland and tasteless.bbq section
you can go take the skewers (raw meat) and then ask the kitchen to bbq for you.. the marinade sauce is the same for all, meat is not fresh..

First time ordering something from this stall, coz it's quite not obvious and not catching my attention. i am trying this for the sake of trying all the food stalls down there.. The food they sell are mostly fried fritters, fried durians, fried banana, and etc. The banana ball i tried costs me $2 if im not wrong. Skin is crispy but kinda oily and banana is not nice. Not worth trying.

Dont be cheated by the picture of this dessert! It looks absolutely nice in their menu but it's actually not! The syrup is too artificially sweet and the ice shaved is too coarse and the mango is ripen too much which i dont quite like the taste. The main thing is the ice shaved that is so coarse and i need to chew on every single bite before swallowing it. The syrup is another thing, it is so artificial that i prefer sour one that this.

the noodle is the wide type of bee hoon, quite chewy and springy.
The soup is not too nice though, less taste and not sweet with fish taste.
There are anchovies and veggies in the soup.
The fish is battered and fried, the skin is thick and oily,
and it is soaked in the soup making the soup also very oily.
This overall bowl of noodle is not recommended,
and it costs about $3.50 which i think is not worth it.

century egg pork porridge
was sick and so i just ordered the porridge. My friend was so good that she dont allow me to eat other fried or spicy thing. anyway we waited quite some time before the porridge came, and that time i was quite sick and hungry, the environment was cold to me too, so the long time waiting really give me a bad impression to this restaurant. moreover, the porridge was not nice! It was the watery with very few rice grain type, and the taste is bland. The pork meat taste like rubber and the century egg was weird too. Only the peanut (which is fromtin can) is nice.
