non-guilt dessert froyo Cry Jan 08, 2012

Yogurt ice cream is one of the healthy choice and tasty treat among all the dessert you can have after a heavy dinner. Sour sally located at a cozy corner of wisma atria where no one would even notice. Atmosphere are simply similar to mr beans.

I got this voucher from friends which offer us buy 1 free 1 of small cup of yogurt ice cream. The selection of toppings isn't outstanding, and the fruits don't look or taste so fresh. Nothing impressive, just ordinary froyo.

gingery chicken rice OK Jan 08, 2012

Soup restaurant has became a traditional dining place for family over the past few years. It is well known for their home-cooked style dishes and sam sui ginger chicken.

Sam sui ginger chicken is one of the must order chicken which served in chilled and presented nicely.

We always go there for their set dinner which is quite reasonable. About sgd60 enough to feed 4 pax including drinks and traditional boiled soup.

Not forgetting they do served their signature appetizer which is the flavorsome braised peanut and you never get enough of it everytime.

must eat rojak Smile Jan 08, 2012

Got so addictive visiting this stall at tiong bahru market!
Love it how they grill the you tiao and tow kwar pop and everything freshly, mixed with fresh cucumber and bean sprout! Also fresh fruits!

Not to mention, they gave out rojak sauce and peanut generously as seen in the photo i have posted. Other that that, what so special about them they actually combine tow kwar pop sandwiched with slice cucumber and sauce unlike other stalls only serve watery fruits with rojak sauce.

SGD5 for a big set of rojak, portion is good enough to feed 1 pax but u will never get enough of this crispy thingy.

KL wantanmee Smile Dec 21, 2011

I always head down to this place for wantanmee because of my work place. The best comfort food ever! I like how they serve in big portion.Totally filling, loved the fresh dumplings, and the broth was tasty.

It some how reminded me the wantanmee i used to have in Kuala Lumpur, they usually use dark sauce instead of normal soy sauce which brings out the taste and less salty.

Just good food in a little cozy place that makes you feel at home. All for very reasonable prices and good value!

Best authenthic hk dimsum Smile Dec 21, 2011

We managed to score last minute reservations for a Sunday Morning because this place is so crowded!

Usually I'm not a big fan of large portioned meals, but I swear I couldn't get enough. The Peking Duck was perfect. The dimsum are exactly what i had in hongkong, comparable to ones served in Hong Kong. They have variety of chee cheong fun, with different type of fillings. Siew mai was huge and the prawn inside are fresh and chewy.

The service here is better than most Chinese restaurants, and although the restaurant is usually busy, the servers are attentive and speedy. You get your money's worth!

Spending per head: Approximately $30
