RICE OK May 15, 2011   (Related Review)

Not knowing what to eat besides the usual stuff,
i ordered economic rice yet again.
Today there was a fried fish, stewed potato and egg tofu.
I am a potato lover and i love ordering potato dishes for my rice most of the time.
The fish was abit overfried and there was a bit of overburnt bitter taste.
I like the potato and egg tofu , they tasted good, and was not too salty or bland.
Next time ill choose some other dishes instead of the fried fish.

wantan noodles OK May 15, 2011

I love eating wanton noodles with black soya sauce, i find it is the most authentic kind of wanton noodles
and i am happy to find this kind of wanton noodles here.
The noodles is not soggy at all,
and rather springy and nice to eat.
The wantons are usually small sized, and just nice to pop each and every one in your mouth .
I also ordered their fried wanton to go along with my noodles ,
taste great as well.

minced meat noodle OK May 15, 2011

I like their minced meat noodles as they are very generous with the amount of topped minced meat.
The meat taste fresh and well seasoned.
There is also wanton, mushroom slices and a piece of fresh crisp lettuce in the noodle.
It comes along with a bowl of small soup too, which was hot and taste was acceptable for a complimentary bowl of soup.
It would be better if they add in more noodles, it would be more filling.

fish and chips OK May 15, 2011

I had their fish and chips for dinner for gathering with my friends .
The fish and chips came nicely presented with fries, coleslaw and cucumbers.
I like their nicely battered fish and chips,
the fish and chips is very juicy in the inside and the fish meat
actually melts in your mouth upon biting,
it taste great even without the usual tartar sauce.
Priced at about $6, it is a reasonable portion.

economic lunch OK May 15, 2011

I find economic beehoon/rice stalls well value for money as i can easily get breakfast/ lunch for about $2 and slightly more if i top up vegetables or other side dishes.
For today i ordered their nasi lemak set which comes with chicken wing and a sunny cheery egg that is cooked the way i like.
The chicken wing is slightly crispy and hot, i like that it was well flavoured.
I didnt ask for chilli which i usually would, as i was having sorethroat that day.
