hor fun Smile May 15, 2011

I had horfun for dinner and i topped up 50 cents more for a piece of egg that they top on top of the horfun.
The egg was halfcooked by the heat from the horfun and it was rather interesting.
The horfun is nicely cooked, it was not too soggy or soft.
I like the horfun gravy as it was smooth and delicious to drink.

They have many dishes on thei rmenu and i was spoilt for choices.
This rojak chicken dish caught my eyes and i ordered 1 serving plus a bowl of rice to go along with.
total set me about $10 for this meal, which is okay for me as i like the chicken alot.
The chicken is cooked in very nice sauce like that of rojak,
It was sweet and a little salty and i love the crunchy cucumber dices that came along with the dishes.

butter crabs Smile May 15, 2011

To me, it doesnt matter if the crab is male or female, i dont really like the yolk of the female crab which many enjoyed
as i find the taste abit fishy for me to like.
As long as the meat is firm and fresh, i would enjoy it.
I ordered a takeaway butter crab for dinner with my family and they love it very much,
The butter sauce was slightly sweet but very enjoyable to eat alone even wihout the crab.
It was even nicer dipping the firm crab meat with the milky sweet sauce and devouring the delectable dish.

Ajisen ramen Smile May 15, 2011

This outlet is not as crowded as compared to Junction's 8 outlet which is good , however maybe they can make their table slightly bigger. I always thought the table for two is a little small. Order cha-shu ramen lunch set. Comes along with one side and drink. I feel their lunch set is very affordable and serving is generous. Sometimes the soup is alittle salty however most of the time is ok. fast service also.

chilli crab Smile May 15, 2011

Chilli crab is my long time favourite which i indulge in occasionally nowadays
as price of crabs has gown up,
now its about $40 per kg which is rather pricey
as for that price, it is enough to go for a reasonable buffet.
I like the chilli crab here with generous bits of eggs beaten in.
It would be much better if they can add in more gravy, i really love slurping up the chilli gravy which goes very nicely with rice or buns.
The pincers were big and meat were firm,
i love it max
