bun Smile May 15, 2011

This charsiew bun cost me about 70cents , although it is quite small size, i had 2 of them, and still felt hungry,
The taste is very good.
The bun is very soft and fluffy.
The charsiew meat inside is very moist , soft, and well seasoned.
They makes good tea time snacks, but if you prefer something more filling,
get those big meat buns insteads.

beehoon Smile May 15, 2011

I like to order xingzhou beehoon when i pass by seafood stalls as they can be really tasty if done well.
I love the exotic mix of lime juice with the beehoon as the sourish-salty and slight sweetness of the beehoon mixed with lime juice is very shiok.
Portion is ok,
waiting time was about 10 minutes.

I bought this home during dinner after work,
as i was not much queue and i was very hungry after slogging out the entire day.
I was quite disappointed as the noodles had become quite dry by the time i reached home in about 15 minutes upon collecting my order.
I should have eaten it on the spot, but there were alot of people, i could not find any seats.
The taste is average, and the sambal chilli was too spicy.
I had to keep drinking alot of water as the noodle was dry .

noodle OK May 15, 2011

This wanton noodle have the usual thin type of noodle which i liked to eat.
There are many pieces of charsiew in the noodles too.
They were very generous with the charsiew and noodle, but it would be alot better
if they can add in more wantons
as there were only 2 small pieces of wantons in the noodles.
Maybe they can also add in some pieces of fried wantons to make the noodles look and taste better as it was quite plain to eat the noodles with just so many charsiews alone.

laksa OK May 15, 2011

The laksa here was slightly on the watery side,
it would sure taste better if more coconut milk was added in,
it would enhance the overall fragrance too.
There were generous amount of beansprout and taupok in the laksa .
The thick beehoon was nice and well cooked, they werent soggy at all.
Wished the gravy would be thicker and better .
