Sugar Cane Smile Sep 21, 2011

Categories : Chinese | Hawker Centre

With the increasingly number of drink stalls picking up on the sugar cane business, it is pretty tough to decide which drink stall to patronise anymore.
This stall's sugar cane does not add in any sugar syrup and is freshly made in your face. Smooth and without much residue, the sugar cane drink is authentic.

Shared a bowl of green tea ah balling with my friends today. Surprisingly, the glutinous rice ball with green tea tasted very very nice! The green tea paste is not very concentrated but smooth in texture and aroma. The soup was normal, nothing to shout about. Definitely coming back again for the green tea balls.

Chicken Rice Smile Sep 21, 2011

If you are not very conscious about oily chicken rice, this stall may be one of the best stalls out there. The chicken is extremely tender and the rice is fragrant. The chilli is rather spicy too. The soup is not one to be missed!
Be sure to come early, during peak hours you may need to wait for freak orders of 40 or more shocked

Soya Bean OK Sep 21, 2011
Categories : Coffeeshop

Ordered a cold and warm soya bean drink.
The cold soya bean drink tastes nicely done. Not too sweet and smooth.
The warm soya bean was disappointing though. The drink was rather watery and there seems to be no taste at all.
The toasted bun with egg and pork floss was extremely disappointing as well. A rather tasteless dish too. It was as if I could make it myself.

Mee Sua Smile Sep 21, 2011

One bustling tze char at Kembangan with stretching tables and chairs all over the place, you would be blind to miss this place. Did a little research before settling down and realised that the much hype was over this soup dish, the Kidney Mee Sua soup.

The soup is extremely smooth and it is not soaked with a strong pork smell. It is extremely fragrant and every sip just makes you yearn for more. The pork and kidney are so so but the noodles are cooked really nicely.

A delicacy in deed!
