One of the famous taxi driver's food places years ago due to their availability in the wee hours. My dad used to bring me to their old store somewhere near Mustafa. They have since moved here and I only noticed when I recognised one of the workers.
The food is still as reasonably priced and the quality has not worsened too.

One thing you have got to love about crystal jade my bread stalls are the discounts they offer after peak hours. The discount may seem minute but you actually save quite alot.
Got myself a Char Siew Po Lo Bun. The bo lo bun is sweet though they could do better. The outlook is very nice though. The char siew is nice tasting and the bread is soft to chew on. If only the bread was hotter and crispier, this would be the top of my daily breakfast list.

The weather and cofffeshop here are clearly not friends. The environment is hot, stuffy at this rundown coffeeshop. For some cool wind, you probably have to pray for it or takeaway to somewhere else.
The queue is never ending despite it's poor environment. The soup tastes natural, does not taste like there's MSG in it. The milky looking soup makes this dish very much appealing.
The fried fish is not bad and there's quite alot of vegetables to go along with, apart from the anchovies.

Yet another chicken pie. PC show has attracted so many people, even the M1 booth had so many people lining up. I had to wait around 7 minutes to get my chicken pie! Bad timing to purchase any food items when such a major event is held. On the bright side, I get to chow on nicely fresh made pies. Good stuff!

Now this is a good place for herbal soup lovers! The herbs tend to ease off the strong mutton smell and the vinegar helps for those who want to mild down the herbal base. The meat is soft, and the bones are easily separated. The soup is really really smooth and the presentation of it is not that bad. Sorry for the bad picture, just couldn't wait to dig in!
The chilli here makes you go on fire! A must for chilli lovers but I think I have low tolerance
