Green Tea Ice Blended  Smile Apr 28, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : American | Coffee

I order coffee at starbucks most of the time so I decided to have a change instead to their green tea that day. The green tea is rich with a strong Japanese green tea fragrance although it was served ice blended. The ice was well blended as always (: it was quite sweet with the additional whipped cream on top. It was a very refreshing drink! smile

Malay Food Smile Apr 28, 2012

I enjoy the dishes from this Muslim store at the deck. They serve a variety of dishes to pick from everyday and every one of them always look very appetising! I usually order their stingray dish which is one of the more unique meat but decided to have a crispy fried drumstick that day. The drumstick was not very nice, not really crispy. Their sambal kangkong was soft and not too spicy. Their sambal egg is something you should not miss out on, its coated with sambal sauce and it's a little sweet yet spicy, giving a great flavour! There are other not so spicy dishes available too. smile

Lao Ban Tau Huey  Smile Apr 28, 2012

Categories : Hawker Centre | Desserts and Cakes

I have learnt to savour every bowl of lao ban tau huey. It has a great smooth texture that you can slurp through your teeth. It is very fragrant and rich in soy flavour. Their texture is one of the best you can find in Singapore. But prepared to wait for some time before you get your bowl of tau huey because the queues at their outlets are always really longgg!

Spending per head: Approximately $1.50

Sushi Smile Apr 28, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi | Kids-Friendly

Sakae Sushi is a generally reasonable restaurant to feast on some sushi and ramen noodles when you feel like having japenses food! Their conveyor belt system of sushi gives you a choice to have sushi immediately once you are seated and conveniently order other dishes through their computerised system right at the seats. I enjoy eating their fried softshell crab sushi roll and their chiwanmushi. The softshell crab is fried very well and is still crispy when served. The piece of meat is quite big and goes very well with the egg roe and mayonnaise within the seaweed roll. Their chiwanmushi is also another yummy dish that you cannot miss out. It is served very hot but the egg is set very well with a great texture! The ingredients inside include mushrooms and crabsticks.

Burger King! Smile Apr 28, 2012
Categories : American | Fast Food | Halal | Burgers and Sandwiches

I had burger king for lunch the other day, attracted by the extra mini sundae in the set meal they advertised on tv. Unfortunately, the ice cream machine was not working that day. ): so instead of the sundae they offered 4 piece nuggets instead. I was okay with the switch because i haven't tried their nuggets before. The nuggets were crispy and fragrant. The sauces accompanying were unique like the kung pao sauce. However there was just too much chicken meat in my meal because I had a chicken burger too, a sundae would have been better! The chicken burger was supposed to be spicy chicken but it's not really spicy.
