Dessert - Kopitiam  (Boon Lay)

the weather was hot.. and i need something cooling

hence we went to kopitam to have some icy dessert

i ordered the red ruby ice..

taste mild sweet.. the green tiny bits looks nice

but i wish for better coconut milk.. those fresh ones would taste better

we had some hongkong food at this cafe

we ordered coffee and melon shake..

drink was not bad.. i also ordered the grilled pork burger... it was rather small..

i just hope that the pork chop could be so much bigger ... overall taste ok.. it was together with a mini slice of tomato.. cucumber and the bread with butter..

i had a tiramisu cake at coffee bean.. well i guess i still prefer the traditional type of tiramisu.

this is a little big.. but the lay of cake is too much for me compared to the trad type.

looks good though.. guess i should get their cheese cake instead

we had this prawn noodle at Nex food republic

well its not that cheap.. and its rather small.. perhaps due to the leaf?

there were 2 prawns.. and a few sotong.. as usual no meat at all..

hence mainly its just for the taste.. with egg and those white and yellow noodles..

well this looks like the laska i had in primary school.. the normal type.. with thick bee hoon.. with many tau pok.. as well as slices of fish cake..

the soup taste ok.. spicy enough.. it was not the thick soup type.. rather slightly watery.. it was quite a big bowl..
