During a catch up session with my friends, we headed down to dessert story to get some dessert after dinner. This is their lychee ice shave! It is not as good as I expected it to be. The ice shaving has a rough texture like blended ice. Not the smooth Taiwan kind of ice shave. The lychee taste is string and the tadpoles at the too are chewy. Altogether not to bad but do not expect it to be the smooth ice shave: costs about 3.50

The meat balls that IKEA serve before is so much nicer than the ones they are serving now..
it is not as chewy as before and its not as big and juicy as before anymore..i use to be a fan of IKEA meat ball until the change..

really hope the old IKEA meat ball can come back to market..

but i must agree with everyone that the sauce they serve is still as nice but i wont go all the way back to IKEA to just enjoy the sauce..

During the lunch special at Fish & co, I tried their salmon set. The set was one of the more expensive ones so I was expecting a better dish. However, I was disappointed. When the dish came, the salmon was pathetically small for the price paid! (I paid about $15 for the set) And the salmon was slightly dry. Not good at all

I recently went down to Selegie and realised that there was a version of lao ban's milkcurd! I love lao ban's milkcurd so i decided to give it a try. But i was disappointed by their milkcurd. It was pretty much tasteless. Not sweet and dont have enough milk curd taste. Totally incomparable to Lao Ban's milkcurd.

Ta Lu prawn noodles! The queue is pretty long and the price is slightly above average at a minimum of $5 per bowl. I ordered their prawn noodles with soup. It is not bad! But the soup could have had abit more prawn taste and flavor. I felt that the taste was not strong enough for me to give it a relatively high rating. Reasonable amount of prawns in their serving. Would go here again
