high tea at high price OK Mar 28, 2012
Categories : American | Ice Cream and Gelato

High is price but not exactly high in quality. Tried their chicken pie and oreo cheesecake. The pie tasted similar to those from polar and the cheesecake.... well just normal. Expected much more from andersen’s – an established brand. Their system of paying DURING meal should be changed. It would be better if they give us the bill before we eat or after we eat. will not patronise again!

lovely design OK Mar 21, 2012

Attracted to the lovely cakes, i went into nydc to try their “i heart you”. It’s a red velvet cake, topped with cream cheese. Am i expecting too much? rather, the appearance is deceiving. The cake is dry and the taste of cheese is too bland. Definitely better choices around. Nice ambience though.

a good place for gathering OK Mar 21, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Restaurant

A cosy and well decorated place, good for gathering or a light snack. A mixture or western and Chinese cuisine caters to all people. Price is reasonable. Tried their spicy chicken noodle ( forgot the exact name) which cost $6.90 before GST. They could have done more with the taste but i guess it’s acceptable for the price.

snack time! OK Jan 26, 2012

I guess everyone has heard of old chang kee before. Their taro pie is fantastic! ( i love yam! ) their curry puff is next in the line. However, their sotong ball is a little disappointing. It’s hard and not juicy at all. Those you get from ntuc is much better. Their chicken wing is very oily too. well, their standard differs from stalls. So it’s good to try.

wildberries yogurt OK Oct 14, 2011
Categories : Frozen Yogurt

Had a cup of frogurt after my meal today. As a frogurt lover, any related product doesn't fail me ( well.. not absolute though. maybe i shld say most). Tried their flavour of the month: wildberries. I would say i'm not amazed. Not that it's not nice, but it taste exactly like the yogurt that you can find in ntuc ( at a cheaper price ) instead of somthing like a combination of yogurt and ice cream. The peach flavour is a better alternative.

Overall, it's quite expensive. $2.30 for 3 oz. Will not buy again unless there's no other alternatives.
