Passion fruit green tea Smile Aug 12, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Kiosk | Desserts and Cakes | Juices | Kids-Friendly

Recently brought a bowl of their signature grass jelly dessert and come with a complimentary cup of the passion fruit green tea with aloe vera worth $2+ as part of their ongoing promotion which is only vaild at their yew tee point outlet. This passion fruit green tea has a very light and refreshing passion fruit taste, green tea is well cooked and does not have the bitter taste. The amount of the passion fruit juice is sufficiently added, not too strong nor too light. The sweetness wise is acceptable, not too sweet. Their aloe vera topping is fresh and crunchy, and goes well with the tea itself.

Sweet and sour pork Smile Aug 12, 2012

Categories : Food Court | Porridge/Congee

After walking around the kopitiam at the IMM outlet, I have decided to try out the food from this stall which sells something that is quite different from other kopitiam. Looking at their menu, I have chosen the sweet and sour pork set and it comprises of the sweet and sour pork hotpan, a bowl of soup and the rice. The sweet and sour pork is sprinkle with slice carrot and chopped spring onion which improve the presentation. As for the taste wise, the pork is well cooked, slight crispy texture and tender on the inside. As for the sweet and sour sauce, it is well seasoned, not too sour nor sweet, just right and also has the sufficient thickness. The soup includes some chopped carrot, cabbage and crab stick. Taste wise is light and refreshing and is not oily. Overall, good food, reasonable price and is worth the try.

Durian Mt Fugi Smile Aug 12, 2012

Brought a bowl of the durian mt fugi dessert after eating dinner at the kopitiam.
This bowl of dessert consist of different layers with durian as the main ingredients. Presentation wise is very appealing as it is topped with a large scoop of the durian flavour ice cream on the top of the dessert, durian flesh cream is spread on the side together with colourful sago. On the bottom of the dessert is the normal ice kachang ingredients that includes red bean, jelly and the attap seed. The amount of ice given is just right as the dessert is not diluted when mixed together, nice durian taste and aroma, taste refreshing and cooling.

Herbal Tea Smile Aug 12, 2012
Categories : Chinese Desserts

Whenever I go to IMM for shopping, I will always buy the herbal tea from this stall to cool myself down.
This time round I have chosen the luo han guo herbal tea. The taste is not too bitter, has the right amount of sweetness but not too sweet, luo han guo taste not too strong and is just nice. Price is reasonable ranging from $1.20 onwards and a wide variety of herbal tea is made available that caters to the different needs for the customer.

Categories : Bakery

Walk past a cake shop and saw a wide variety of the baked products and decided to try one of their product.
Their swiss roll is well baked, nice golden brown colour, has a soft and spongy texture and also has a light vanilla taste. The outer layer of the swiss roll has a slight crispy texture and is also sprinkle with a light layer of the icing powder. As for the cream filling, it is not too sweet, has a soft and creamy texture and adequate amount of the cream is spread onto the swiss roll.
