Breads!;D Smile Mar 17, 2013

Tried the sesame peanut bun and butter boom which costs only $0.95 and $0.60 each respectively! ;D

I was lucky to have got it when it is fresh from the oven and is still hot.

Even though there’s a queue, it did not take a long time before I get to purchase the buns.

The black sesame and peanut butter paste filling was quite a lot and the bun is not too dry.

I really love their butter boom as it is only $0.60 and it has the above average standards with that pricing ;D

They are really generous with the butter filling and that makes the bun juicy and tasty ^^ a plain and simple, yet delicious and fulfilling bun ;D

It is really worth it to buy breads from Baker Talent…their breads are really nice and affordable. They are even popular with the kids too ;D

It’s definitely worth my first choice bakery from now on lol

Wanton Mee Smile Mar 17, 2013

Love the wanton mee at graffiti café especially the black sauce dry wanton mee!;D

If it were to be priced at a lower price, I supposed would have bought it at least once a week.

Nonetheless, it is considered pretty affordable at $3.50 a bowl. The portion isn’t a lot but it is enough to fill us up for a light dinner.

The waiting time was within 5 mins when there isn’t a crowd.

The fried wanton is crispy ;D

However the noodles that day was a little too dry and we had to add some soup to it.

Liked the black sauce a lot and the wanton filling here is special compared to those elsewhere. ;D

Rojak Smile Mar 17, 2013

Had always visited this stall near my house whenever we wanted to have indian rojak ;D

The indian rojak here is quite affordable compared to the price elsewhere and it is nice and filing.

The ordering system for the indian rojak here is by self-service, choosing and selecting the items we want onto a plate like yong tau foo ;D

We ordered around 6-7 items and it costs $7.40.

The items that were made of flour are crispy on the outer and are soft & fluffy inside.

There are a few flavours for the flour items such as the onion, vegetables, potato etc.

We also ordered the normal fish cake and spicy fish cake.

We can also request for cucumber and green pepper chilli ;D

The portion ordered is shared among 3 of us and it is really filling after finishing the rojak lol

Tahu Goreng OK Mar 17, 2013

Tried tahu goreng before a few times and really liked it.

Ordered from this stall and it costs $3.50. It doesn’t look the same as what I’ve had before.

The sauce and overall taste is also different. The sauce is like the black sweet sauce with chilli and mixed with peanuts.

The portion is quite small and it isn’t really worth for the price.

Although it tastes different and is considered pretty expensive, it is quite nice with the mild salty and sweet flavour mixed together on the fried beancurd.

The service is quite good too.(:

Sausage Potato Bun Smile Mar 17, 2013

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Bakery

Saw the sausage potato bun when going through their varieties. I found it to be quite an interesting combination so I bought it to try ;D
It costs $1.40.

The cheese on top and presentation of it makes it look appetizing.

The filling is quite a lot and I liked the taste of it.

I could mostly taste only the potato, not much of the sausage though.

Even though the sausage isn’t a lot, I liked how the filling in the bun is flavoured ;D

It is a little peppery and it is not too salty. The potato is mashed potato type and it goes well with the bread.

The bread is not too dry, and it is soft to consume lol
