Mini Wok  Smile Mar 02, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Seafood | Brunch

This is the only stall inside the Kopitiam that does not accept the Kopitiam card, so you need to pay cash instead. They have a variety of items and to me, it is more like a zichar stall. Their fish head curry is qute cheap but not very fresh. So normally, I would just order either their sweet and sour pork rice or sweet and sour fish rice. It comes in a mini wok and there is a sunny side up egg. This one is not bad, the sweet and sour sauce is very balance and very appetising. The rice is soft and fluffy.

By the way, once you place your order with the staff, they will bring the food to your table.

Spending per head: Approximately $4.50(Dinner)

Tradition Herbal Tea Smile Mar 02, 2011
Categories : Stall / Kiosk

Oriental Herbal Tea sells a variety of teas with different properties and remedies. Some can relieve heatiness, some for cough etc. The taste of the herbal tea is quite strong, not too diluted as some other places. It is also not too sweet and if you do not know which to choose, you can chat with the aunties and see what is best for you. It is a convenient way to have herbal tea as you do not need to boil it yourself.

Spending per head: Approximately $1.50(Other)

It is a snack shop Smile Mar 02, 2011

I like to patronise this stall because this stall sells a variety of snacks and tibits. You can preserved fruits, sweets, biscults from here. There is a brand of white rabbits sweets (the original brand, not the Ego one) that I can find here. The lady is very friendly and keeps her smile even if you do not buy anything from her. The preserved fruits like the sweet plum or sweet ginger slices are very nice.

Hot sizzling pots Smile Mar 02, 2011
Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Brunch

This stall sells food items that comes in a hot sizzling pan. The have chicken meat, fish and beef but usually I will order the chicken dish known as "three cup chicken". The set comes with a bowl of rice and soup. The soup's texture is a bit thick and taste very different from other soups I have tried before. Stilll can accept it. The chicken is very tender and it comes with slices of chopped onions. Quite good but do be warned that you will get a bit smokey because the food being placed on the hot plate creates the sizzling noise and there is a lot of smoke in the first 1 min.

Nasi Lemak Smile Mar 02, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Hawker Centre | Brunch

The price of their nasi lemak is quite reasonable as they have 2 different sets that you can choose from. Alternatively, you can choose your own toppings at a dfferent costs though. Their nasi lemak is quite tasty. Besides nasi lemak, this stall also sells fried mee hoon, fried rice etc. There is a variety of food items that you can pair with your mee hoon or rice. It ranges from chicken wings, to fish fillets. Compared to some other stall selling nasi lemak, this stall's version is quite good and is economic.
