Quite tasty Pig Organ Soup Smile Mar 02, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Chinese Soup | Brunch

As this place is located near my area, it is one of my usual place for meals. From this stall, the usual order will be for the Pig Organ Soup with rice. The taste of the soup is quite good, a good balance of saltiness from the salted veg that they put inside the soup. Each bowl comes with pork slices, pig intestine, liver, tofu, meat ball. Dip the ingredients into the chilli sauce that they provide and you got a different taste. A simple meal like this will satisfy your hunger.

Quite good  Smile Mar 01, 2011

Since I am also a Japanese cuisine lover, I decided to have the Japanese food and this time round I choose the unagi set (eel set). The eel was well cooked and coated with the sauce. It was delicious. The soup was a bit too salty but that is the way with miso soup. The rice was well cooked and not soggy. The cutlet was well fried, not too oily but a bit hard though. So overall, the set was quite well done and I will definitely go for their other items next time.

Categories : Food Court

After lunch, it was time for a cup of coffee to perk me up. So my choice will be a cup of hot coffee. The coffee was quite good, it was thick and smooth. Not too sweet and had a good coffee fragrance and taste. For me this cup of coffee has make its worth as I enjoyed it and it did help to perk me up. Their tea is also not bad. The service staff have good skills in brewing the coffee and tea. Keep it up.

I loved the beef noodles at this place. Although I had tried many other places, I still find that this is the one for me. I had the promotion set of mixed beef items with a plate of veggie and rice. And it costs only $5.50. Very worth it. The set has a mixture of beef slices, beef tripes and beef balls and they were very well cooked. The soup has a little herbal taste but not too overpowering. Very delicious. If you are a beef lover, you should give it a try.

Spending per head: Approximately $5.50

steam pork with rice Smile Mar 01, 2011

This roasted deluxe store sells quite a variety of items besides the normal chicken, duck rice. The also have soups and steam rice topped with many other ingredients. For me, I had the steam pork with shredded Mui choy with rice. It was very delicious as the rice was not hard and the sauce coated the rice. The meat was tender and there was a balance of saltiness and sweetness. Reminds me of what I have during my childhood. Very nice.

Spending per head: Approximately $4(Lunch)
