i was at marina square the other day for bowling with cousins. decided to have dinner but not sure to go where as got a few places to choose from and finally we decided to go to MANHATTAN!

We ordered the flaming seafood platter. It's Huge.i think 4 people can actually share it. the comes with deep fried fish. crispy calamari, fries with the flaming prawns with herb rice. it was really delicious. they will actually flame the prawn in front of you. if that is what they call. Besides this dish we also order additional Cheese Fries. they pour a little bit of cheese not sufficient enough. they should pour a little bit more. but the taste was there.

Trying out New places.so we decided to come over to bedok and try out this place called Enak Enak. I would say it's first class. the service they provide us with is

 

 

 

 

 

extraordinary.

Starters: Cheese Roti John. it was really very crispy and cheesy. they also pour some cheese sauce on top of the roti john.

then we order sides with Plain rice :

1. Hot plate beancurd. which comes with all of items in the dish such as mushrooms, vegetables. egg and all pieces of tofu. really very tasty.

2. cereal Prawns, really crunchy, buttery and soft in the inside. but i kept eating the cereal.

3. Chicken. i forgot the name of the dish but i would say that it's a bit spicy. it's like a normal chicken which they normally use for the chicken rice. just that this comes with a all of pieces and the sauce for you to dip in. The chicken was really tender and sauce was spicy and very yummy.

4. Lime Juice. the drink was really very sourly. but it's good to drink lime as you are eating seafood.

i would go back to the place again to try different dishes and also because of the service.

Since i always order Black pepper seafood, i thought why not we try the fish and chips in swensens. the fish was really good. crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Dip it with the tartar sauce. the fries were really well fried. and the coleslaw was really tasty with pineapples. but i don't really fancy that so i didn't eat it. Overall fish and chips is very very tasty.

Max brenner is one of the best place where i have tasted chocolaty stuff. It was my first time too. And i had chocolate souffle. it was a bomb i tell you. i fell in love with the dish by even looking at it. can you imagine how would it have tasted like? the chocolate was oozing out when i cut the souffle open. They serve it with chocolate sauce and strawberries and also a scoop of vanilla Ice-cream. i really enjoyed it. i went hmmm...ooooooo...ahhhhh. Try out it when you go there.

i really felt like eating something spicy. so my cousin and i head to al-ameen for dinner. I had nasi goreng kampong and my cousin had mee hailam. the nasi goreng kampong was really spicy as it comes with sambal belachan , egg and keropok (Cracker). I really enjoy my food. the mee hailam is a bit blend as it's not really spicy but it come with vegetables. small pieces of chicken. but you can eat it with the green chilli which is soaked in vinegar and salt....
