I could not decide what to eat so i settled on the sambal chicken with rice from this stall. i felt that this dish was not too bad, it was not too spicy in my opinion. the chicken was really very tender. the sambal sauce that they fried the dish in was very tasty as well. there were quite a lot of onions fried together with the dish. i felt that the onions added some sweetness and spiciness to the chicken. as a whole i thought it was pretty good!

xiao cai Smile Aug 25, 2013

I had an outing at Din Tai Fung with a couple of friends. We ordered a couple of dishes to share namely the famous Xiao Long Bao. My friend ordered this "Xiao Cai" for us to share. I normally skip the appetizer sections but she insisted that this pile of vegetables is really good and indeed it was good. To the extent that i even ordered one more plate for myself. there was a mixture of different kinds of vegetables. It was seasoned with vinegar so it tasted a little sourish. it really helps to open up your appetite. I really enjoyed this dish.

Fish Lor Mee Smile Aug 25, 2013

This stall mainly sells their Lor Mee and Yong Tau Fu in the morning and for me who wakes up late, i never gotten a chance to try their Lor Mee. However I was pretty lucky the other day, i went there at around 1 plus and they were still open! I ordered their Fish Lor Mee. It was $4 but the portion is really a lot, a lot of noodles and a lot of ingredients like the fried fish. It was indeed really good. the gravy was very thick and tasty, however not too starchy. The fish they used was simply so fresh and the meat was so sweet. it was indeed a joy to eat it!

Spending per head: Approximately $4(Lunch)

This place serves really good ramen but the restaurant is pretty small and it tends to get pretty crowded during meals time. so it is best to go early so that you can enjoy their delicious ramen. what i like about their ramen is the cha shu. it is so tender that it practically melts in your mouth. the soup is so thick and tasty. the ramen is so springy and chewy. their egg is the soft yolk kind. absolutely delicious!

This McDonald's, McCafe opens 24 Hours so my friends and I decided to head there for a midnight snack. I was not too hungry so i opted for a drink from the McCafe. As it was a pretty chilly night, i ordered their hot Green Tea Latte. It was really nice and fragrant. They took the effort to decorate with the word "Tea" in Chinese. The green tea was very fragrant. It was pretty milky so the drink tasted really smooth. the drink was not too sweet as well.
