Black Musashi Smile Aug 25, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen

I was craving for those authentic Japanese Ramen so I headed to Menya Musashi to satisfy that craving of mine. I ordered their Black Musashi Ramen, they also have it in Red and White. I ordered their Cha Shu Ramen. It was really delicious. the soup was just to die for, it was thick and very rich in flavours. It made you wanna drink mouth after mouth. The ramen itself was so awesome, it was springy and chewy and most importantly it does not stick to your teeth. The cha shu was very tasty, having to absorb all the soup.

You can hardly find Tauhu Teloh around anymore. I remember you can easily find it in food courts but now they do not seem to exist anymore. so i was pretty glad when i came across it in the menu of Bali Thai and i knew i had to order it. the portion was really huge, i ate it as my main course and it was really filling. the toufu was fried together with eggs into a pile. their sauce was really good, very nutty, not too sweet and a little spicy. it was just so satisfying.

Bubble Gum flavour Smile Aug 25, 2013

I must always have my dessert after a nice meal. i decided to head over to Marble Slab Creamery for a nice cold treat. After looking at the wide selections of flavours, i finally settled on their Bubble Gum flavour ice cream. I was so nice and milk. I love how milky the ice cream tasted. The Bubble Gum flavour was not too strong, and most importantly the ice cream was not too sweet. it was just enjoyable.

Fried Chicken Set OK Aug 25, 2013

I guess it was because of my recent trip to Korea which caused me to set my expectations of Korean Fried Chicken too high. I missed the delicious flavours of the korean "chicken and beer" or so what they called it in korea and have not been able to recapture the same taste in Singapore. So when i came across Seoul Xpress, i decided to give it a try. I was a little disappointed with the chicken. I ordered their Garlic flavour. I found the garlic flavour a little too overwhelming for me. after a while it was a little too much for me and i stopped eating the crispy chicken skin and only eat the meat. the pieces were also pretty small, i found it a little pricey for the size i got. the set cost around $7.

i guess if i were to return, maybe i will give their rice and ramen a shot but not their chicken.

Mee Goreng OK Aug 25, 2013
Categories : Food Court

It was pretty late, around 8 plus 9pm and most of the food stall were on the verge of closing so i decided to head over to the Chinese Cuisine Express to order my dinner. I ordered the Mee Goreng, it was pretty reasonably priced at $4.50. It was cooked upon ordering, i was not too impressed with it, i found it not spicy enough for me, did not have the kick! I found it a little not salty enough as well. the noodles were cooked okay, it did not stick to your teeth. I found it only so so.
