I went back to Canton Paradise for their delicious and springy noodles but this time round i ordered their chilli oil dumpling (红油抄手) to try. i must say their dumplings are one of the nicer ones I have eaten. they were very meaty, when you take a bit, it was very juicy. the red chilli oil was not too spicy. the acidity level was just right, not too sour. really enjoyed the food here.

I specially made my way to this food court just before lunch time so i could get my favourite mee goreng from this stall. their mee goreng is pretty popular cos if i go there slightly after lunch time, there isn't anymore. all i ordered was mee goreng and curry vegetables. i even asked the uncle to give me more sambal chilli. their mee goreng was not too spicy so i need the sambal chilli to increase the spiciness. the curry vegetables were very sweet and crunchy, i was very satisfied.

Miso Pork Cutlet Set Smile Jun 22, 2013

After my last pleasant visit, I am back to try out more of their interesting food from their menu. This time round i tried their Miso Pork Cutlet Set ($15.90). It came with gyoza and soup and rice.

The miso pork gravy is so tasty, it goes absolutely well with rice. It is not too salty as well, i felt it brought out the flavour of the pork cutlet. The pork cutlet is very tender and juicy. really delicious.

Although there were only three pieces of gyoza, i enjoyed every bit of it. the skin not too thick and the filling was very tasty.

The soup goes really well with this dish as the flavours are strong hence the light soup helps to cleanse our palette as we eat.

i really like it that Hot Tomato does not charge really high prices for their steak. I decided to order their steak and prawn combination. it came with a portion of salad and spaghetti. the prawn shells were sliced open so it was really easy to eat the prawn meat. the steak was very tender and juicy. i like the dressing of the salad, it was not too heavy. i like the sauce they provided, enhanced the flavour of the meat.

Categories : Korean | Food Court

This is the first food court stall that i have came across selling Budae Chigae. So what is Budae Chigae? It is the korean army stew. In the stew, you can find common food like luncheon meat, sausage, instant noodles and baked beans. the soup is one the spicier side. despite having instant noodles in the soup, they serve this dish with rice. the soup is very tasty, goes well with the rice. this is one of my most favourite dish!

Spending per head: Approximately $6(Dinner)
