Met up with boyf after work and decide to try the new outlet of manhattan fish market @ causeway point. there were many people queuing there so it took us about half an hour before getting our seats. While waiting for our turn, we took a look @ the menu and decided to order We order a seafood platter for 2 and 2cups of root beer. The staffs direct us to our seats, took our orders and serve us ice water while waiting for the food to be serve to us. The food was nice, the fish is crispy, and the veggies were nicely cook. however i dont really like the rice as the sauce make the rice taste rather creamy... Some of the prawns were not fresh and is difficult to remove the meat from the skin. The calamari is nicely fried but is a little salty...

That coffee place, a coffee house that was located near my boyf house so we decided to go there for dinner. as you can see from the menu, they have quite a number of food varieties for us to choose and the price is afforable and reasonable. So after much discussion, we ordered curry fish head, fu rong egg, one cup of ice-lemon tea and one cup of barley.home made ice-lemon tea. quite nice, not really that sweet and taste just right. home made barley. i feel that the drink can be sweeter a little bit as i feel that its a little blend. finally here comes our food, Curry fish head ( my favourite ). 18$ is definately worth the price because instead of bones and many bones it has alot of meat however the cooker put too much curry powder which make the curry taste powdery. our last dish fu rong egg, a normal dish that can be seen anywhere from zichar stalls. actually nothing special about this dish but it does not taste salty and has lots of ingredients in it.

Me and my boy went down early get a place first as we were unable to make the reservation through phone.

After we settle down, one of the staff came and give us a few choices of soup base to choose such as herbal chicken, chicken, tom yum, and ma la soup. We choose herbal chicken and chicken soup.

The price of the steamboat per person is $20 with free flow of drinks and a wide range of varieties of food to choose. However, the food finish very fast and the staffs took quite a long time top up the food thus didnt get the chance to bbq the marinate chicken breast and pork. But there is shabu shabu its fresh and nice

The table is not very clean because its oily and we had to use tissues to wipe the table and also the plates have stains on it so have to choose plates that have no stain on it.

They have lots of varieties there fried food, differents types of vegetables, different types of fishballs and other food which is fresh. You can choose to have noodles, rice with soup or have it dry. For curry lovers you have to add additional $0.50 for that.

The staffs there were efficient and always serve their customers with a big smile on their faces.
So i ordered a curry beehoon with veggies, hotdog, meat balls and etc. The ingredients taste fresh and the meat balls is big compare to the one that we always bought in the NTUC. However the curry is a little too blend and not spicy enough so i have to add extra chilli for that.

Not sure what to eat for dinner this weekend Can try Manhattan fish market seafood platter for 2 Me and my boyf went to iluma shopping center and decided have our dinner @ Manhattan fish market. The place is nice, quiet and sparkling clean ( a thumps up for that) The staff were kind to lead us to our seats and gave us each a cup of ice water before she take our orders with a big smile on the face. We ordered seafood platter for 2 and the food came within 15mins. The fish is nicely fried and it does not have the fishy smell suitable for people that dontlike the smell. The fried calamari was nice as it is not hard to chew and its not salty or too oily However the prawn is a little disappointing as the shell is stick together with the meat which means that the prawn is not fresh enough. The rice is not that tempting either because it had too much cream sauce on it which makes it a total turn off.
